When we find out someone else reads xkcd we then act as though we were "on a bus, then smiled at each other as if to say 'i am not anti-social, just shy (you can talk to me)'".

I have had people recognize my shirts before and we have a blast after knowing the other person is of "our kind".

Well, not everyone is always wearing their xkcd shirt or the topic doesn't always come up. How can we recognize each other? well I propose someone with the ability (I am computer illiterate) to build an email system (is that what you call it) so that we can all have xkcd emails.

I for one wouldn't mind even paying a small yearly charge to keep an xkcd email!

I think we had this discussion already, and the conclusion was that it would be far too much effort to maintain.

If it's already been discussed, I don't want to perpetuate the issue, but....

We need something like "Marco Polo". Whenever you enter a room just yell the first word. If you hear the trigger word, yell the second word.

This won't seem strange at all...

You honestly think they wouldnt find a way around?

Also im trying to think of a phrase or word which would be sociably acceptable to shout in public places but would be extremly unlikely to be said by anyone. Any ideas?
One day something wity and original will appear here

It's been discussed, and at any rate this should have been in S/FI.
