Thank you everyone, I'm smiling now. Shiny. :) I think my hair is in such good condition because I haven't touched it with straighteners, curlers, hairdye or other burny things it just sort of sits there looking pretty for me. It's getting too long now, it keeps getting in the way.
OBrien: Your hair looks pretty long, and the curls are something I rarely see with hair that long, impressive.
Also, that rock society thing made me laugh :D
Narsil: That's long hair, I'm not sure whose is longer though. I like your bead curtain thing too.

I wash it every other day or so with head and shoulders and occasionally whatever conditioner is about. I don't do much with it so the hair doesn't get too damaged.
I think the fact I let it towel dry helps, it stays in better condition and so has better ends or something. I don't know.
Hair pretty much has a point where it won't get any longer because the falling out has caught up with the growth. That's not very well explained, but the point is you might not get it to grow much more, my Dad's stops growing about nipple length and it's been like that for about 20 years without cutting it whereas mine is almost waist length and showing no sign of stopping. Sorry to say it, but it might be that your hair has reached that point.

Yeah, my hair stops at the small of my back, or thereabouts, and that drives me crazy. I want hair down to my bum, damnit.

Totally entertained by this thread. Lots of you define "long" very freely, though. :P

I've decided that hair interfering with toilet business is too long.
It needs cutting now, when I have to worry about dipping it in things I don;t want to dip it in.

A couple protips as a dude who beat you in maybe all categories - think about this - life is a game, living at home is a tutorial, your race and gender are chosen at birth, but depending on what your parents are like they can put stats into intelligence or into athleticism or whatever, producing different classes, like nerds and jocks.

Anyways when you move out you get into the real meat of the game, realize everything up to this point has been training to play this game called life hoping we make it a good long while before we meet the endboss, death, cause only like Jesus, and Elijah and a few others have ever beaten him.

SO
Your hair will grow longer, it'll get better. You'll get older, you'll get better.

... No. The abstract known as "Intelligence" is poorly understood. While genetics may and likely do play a part, they are not the only role. Nutrition is a role, practice is a role, and so on. People who are treated as intelligent become more intelligent. People treated as idiots become idiots.

One's athletic ability is also a function of genetics and real-world practice - no matter how many marathon champions are in your family, you'll be a fat slob if you sit on the couch and eat all day long. Of course, not everything is equal, so getting out and busting your ass all the time will not always result in a thin, muscled body as well.

And as I already described - an individual's hair will only grow for so long before it stops growing. Nothing can be done to counteract this, so if your hair stops growing at 7 inches in length, you'll never be able to pull it back in a pony tail.

In short - you're wrong, wrong wrong.

That is what I'm saying - ones basic genetic make up provides things like race and gender, while their nurturing creates the person they will be based on a variety of factors.
