So, uh, faces are boring. Let's zoom in to something more interesting.

Post your eye (right or left, whichever) here!

I'll start:
Spoiler:

(Oh, and please spoiler your images please, for courtesy.)

Might want to edit a spoiler into that second picture.

It looks like you have a bunch of scratches on your cornea where that lamp is reflecting. I don't know if that's normal for a cornea, an optical illusion, or what, but it doesn't look good.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's dead now.

EDIT: I'd never noticed the scratches there. Now I have to take pictures of others' eyes to see if it's normal. For SCIENCE!

Awww... now you can't see those tiny scratches I was talking about. I was thinking about how light could have made patterns like that, because if you had scratches like that, it'd be hard not to notice them.

Checking wikipedia page on Astigmatism, although I'm pretty sure it doesn't look like that.

I was meaning to delete it anyways. I just forgot that it would automatically add attachments at the end of your post.

I've never noticed anything before and have 20/20 vision, so I would assume that whatever it is, it's not a problem.

Well, I wear glasses, and the only photo I have with a nice shot of my eye is small and it's behind my glasses too. I'll get some more later. My eyes will change color according to what is around them (normally, what I wear). I have seen them look the range of quite green to deep blue. I'll get some better photos later, without the glasses in the way.

Thank you :) I like my eyes, they would be my favorite physical feature about myself.

I like your first picture, that's cool in a creepy way. How did you do that? Contacts of sorts? (note; i have not done anything for Halloween in....gosh...15 years? Even then, my idea of costume was using poster board to design something funky I could wear over my coat as it was always raining/snowing/sleeting for us)

Contacts, indeed. I was a ghost and Hubby was a zombie (he had all red irises). The white is REALLY creepy; I could honestly not bare to look at myself in the mirror until I got used to it. Halloween fell on a weekday and I wore them to a party at the weekend and freaked everyone out; then wore them to work (all rest of outfit totally normal) on halloween itself and did the same thing.

It was awesome! They hurt after a while (I used to wear contacts but had laser so hadn't worn them for years) so my eyes got bloodshot which made the effect even cooler :)

Awesome! I work in a lab so I don't wear contacts (chemicals + contacts = not cool) but that would be funny to try this year for Halloween - see who notices.

My eye colour varies.
I used to think it depended on ambient light levels, but it appears to be more complicated than that because I took 3 photos that worked and the colour changes with each.

Taken by phone camera just now, and so aren't very good.

Okay as promised - my eye w/o glasses. See description for how I got them to look how I did. I took a photo of my whole face and just cropped it down to the eye, because if I were to just zoom for the photo the effect isn't as noticeable for some reason.
