1. The internet

2. These dumplings that this chinese family in charlottesville make, that are pure crack. (I may be thinking of these disproportionately, because I'm about to go get some)

3. The look of slow realization that comes over someone's face when it's just dawning on them that you've totally screwed them over.

Number 2 will ruin your life much faster than number three I've heard.

[2] Sex
[3] Drugs
[4] The Internet

I did more than four, I'm sorry, but I had to put the internet on the list and it just could not be number three.

1. maths, a recent conversation with a friend involved me explaining why maths is much greater than booze.

2. tea. I am English after all, and a mathematician. See Arthur Dent.

3. maths again? Or internet if that isn't allowed. Specifically here. This site has replaced facebook as my first link for 'f'.

1. Music. If I am not listening to it I am singing or humming something.

2. Edited, because conversations now take second place. I love love love talking to people and I could not live without it.

3. Sorry comic books, but you have been bumped off the list and reading has re-resumed third place.

1. A series of tubes known as the interblag.

2. EVE Online, the only MMO that actually lets you make a difference.

3. The occasional math and physics discussions with my friends.

1. People. I like being around people.
2. Music. This is a bit self-explanatory. In case you hadn't noticed (and I'm sure a lot of you have), I'm quite opinionated about music. I like to share my opinions and hear what others have to say about it. I couldn't live without music.
3. The internet. It's really hard to imagine me without a computer. Honestly. I don't think I could do it. :(

Speaking of living without computers, when is thomasjmaccoll (sp?) coming back from France?

Not to mention the irritability. XD

I thought I would miss the internet, but I don't. I could live without it.

I'd miss my friends, but I'm used to people coming and going from my life so it would pass. I spend my spare time on the internet, but that's time I would just spend doing something else.

Our connection went down for a few hours. Then another time it went down for a few days. I think that was worse than the hot water going down. At least then I didn't have to use my mobile to moan about it to my friends.

1) Music. I go everywhere with my iPod blasting. I love to sing, I love to dance, I love to play music and listen to music and look for new artists and do everything else related to music.

2) Food. All food, any food. I eat so much. I'm a terrible binge eater.

3) Talking about myself. Seriously, I do it too much. I'll pretty much tell anyone anything about myself.

4) The internet. (The number and the addition are for the same reason as Rachel's.)

1. Women. I don't want to say just sex, because other physical "relations" can satisfy the addiction, as well. And some are thrilling just to hang out with, or just spend the night with.

2. Sitting in a public place, drinking decent coffee, watching people. Humans are fascinating, and I love watching them more than I love watching good television.

3. Halo 2. Gotta say it. I'm addicted to XBox Live. It's the most pathetic element of my life, which I guess means my life isn't too terribly pathetic, but still...

1. Women. I'm a sucker for a pretty girl.

2. Sleep. I simply can NOT wake up in the morning, and naps are an awesome diversion from responsibility.

3. Books. I will read pretty much anything that's put in front of me. Which reminds me, I need to finish The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time tonight.

Honorable Mention: Internet.

1. girls/the idea of love - I haven't actually been in love, so the idea is more accurate. oh, and i like girls. a lot.
2. music - there is no better feeling then buying a new album of a band based on a spur of the moment decision and finding out that it is absolutely amazing (like The Moon & Antarctica by Modest Mouse, which I am listening to right now)
3. The New York Rangers/New York Mets - I apologize right now to anyone who ever interrupts me while watching a game. except if its a girl, then its okay.

Honorable mention: video games - right now, can't stop playing Europa Universalis 3

I wasn't a huge fan of either of those... although I've been meaning to give Perks another chance because I read it when I was an angry HS junior and hated anything popular.
