Let the cat speak!

Postby parkaboy » Thu Apr 30, 2009 4:46 pm UTC

Surely, your cat has something important to tell everyone. Why else would s/he constantly walk all over your keyboard? I say, let the cats speak!

I have trained my cats not to speak. They don't step on the keyboard anymore. I've got one curled happily on my lap, and have no interest in moving her. She does regularly shove the keyboard tray back under the desk, though.

Okay, she just jumped off my lap: I tried to put her on the keyboard, and all I got was this:

plus some strange attempt to change a browser setting (she failed).

Am I the only one concerned that by allowing them a vector for communication we are only hastening their inevitable subjugation of the human race?

Not got a cat, I'm afraid. And the rabbits are lazing about in their run so I won't bring them in the now.

Did this a couple of years ago with Fuzzball (another rabbit), and Fidget (hamster) though. Fidget wasn't actually heavy enough to press down any keys, but Fuzzball came out with something containing a lot of Ls.

Simon had this to say:

Obviously she was imitating the sound the keys make, then exclaiming about something in her best Jewish voice, then hissed, then growled, then finally laughed. A lot. I think she's retarded.

Coaly then had this to add:

Coaly wrote:m m, tfg zsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdsdddddddddkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkcdkgfffcxdcxdcxdcxdcxdcxdcxdcxdcxdvcghhnjhbnjbnjkbn bn gb5r44444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444

Apparently she thinks everything is a joke, laughs through her teeth, then says she's joking, and has an unhealthy obsession with the number 4.

And finally, Tim:

Tim wrote:we5690p0o56jhnt5rtnfgyy5juhn kliyjk9oimn kl mikuujujyhujujujujujujujujujgbt5rt5r

He doesn't have as much to say as the others. In fact, he refused to say anything so I had to coax him into it. All I can really make out is he was talking about juju a lot. Maybe he's into voodoo?
