Wait, your contention with the show that has green and blue skinned individuals is that it didn't have Asians?

See, I always picture bullies as blue because of the Gross Sisters on The Proud Family.

And I cannot find a picture of them. -_-

Yup.

It was always strange, because everyone else in the series had normal skin colors, but these three were blue.

Not as such an "ISHTST" as a "This Really Should Not Happen.

We just had police arrive at our front door after being alerted to a domestic disturbance at our address. After a bit of confusion they then realised they were meant to be at a house in Barry with the same street name rather than here in Cardiff.

ISHTST: 'Hmm, I don't think 'pirate' is a 6-letter word for 'Cause irritation'..."
And, "Mom, 'cause irritation.' 6 letters. And it isn't 'pirate'."

Crossword puzzle. In my defense, "pirate" was correct for the clue next to that one...

Sounds like when people tell me it's a pity I don't like eggplants because there are so many vegetarian options with them. It's not a pity, because I don't like it. It is, perhaps, a pity that I don't eat meat, because it is tasty and I avoid it due to reasons other than flavor. But not eggplants.

I pity myself in that I don't like eggplant, mushrooms, or tofu. It makes it hard to share food with vegetarians, so going out to eat with them can get more complicated. I also wish I could take advantage of the cheaper prices of tofu based meals. I don't know that this analogy works, but I feel like there is something missed in not being able to enjoy things with other people.

There's a huge difference between feeling sorry for oneself that you're unable like something that you would be happy to like. And feeling pity for someone else for the fact that they don't like something.

The first is okay, the latter is horrible condescending.

OK, it's not really an ISHTST, it just fits with the thread. It's reasonable people won't know exactly what it means. Asexuals have the exact same needs and wants are sexual people, including for companionship and love. The only difference is they don't want sex with people (and each person has different degrees of what they want to do).

I'm not sure if there's a specific name for those. Possibly they're just a subset of asexuals? The thing to note is that if you have an unusually low level of sexual attraction to people, it doesn't mean you have a low level of romantic attraction.

Libido and Romance aren't really the same thing, I don't think. Wikipedia's more or less backing my thoughts on this, which is that libido is commonly meant to refer exclusively to sexual desire. So someone who doesn't want to have sex wouldn't have much or any libido. Their desire for emotional, romantic attachment doesn't play into it.

ISHTST:

I have pretty much no libido, but I still want a close mutually flirtatious relationship. I do not view a relationship as a gateway to sex. I view a relationship as a gateway to late-night phonecalls and chocolate binges with the occasional popcorn flick.

Ah, thanks. I was under the impression that asexuals had no (or very little) sex drive at all(including masturbation). Wikipedia confirms what you said, and I can't find a term for what I was looking for (people who very rarely get sexually aroused).

Oregonaut: it sounds like you're asexual then. I know asexuals who are in strong romantic relationships.

I'm an aromantic asexual. I don't want romantic relationships. I don't want sex. I don't want to keep the weak vestiges of libido I've got, and would gladly take a chemical route to purging them if one presented itself. And I'm really glad I read this thread, because I've been feeling like absolute shit for having those random blips of libido-based urges.
