Your Top 10 xkcd Comics

Postby Rhombix » Sat Sep 12, 2009 11:21 pm UTC

OK, I've spend a while thinking about this, and I'm pretty sure I've found my perfect Top 10 list. These are in order of release, because I find ranking them #1 to #10 to be a very difficult task.

So, here you go:

Blown apart
Five Thirty
Organic Fuel
Getting Out of Hand
Nerd Sniping
A Bunch of Rocks
New Car

Compiling this list involved clicking the "Random" button quite a lot (c'mon, you really thought I'd go through all 634 comics?). While searching endlessly through random strips, I came across "A Bunch Of Rocks", which is perhaps the most amazing comic strip EVAR. "Blown Apart" was the first xkcd comic I ever read, and it is still one of my favourite early strips along with "Schrodinger" and "Five Thirty".

Other strips that are awesome, but not quite as awesome are "Exploits Of A Mom", "The Man Who Fell Sideways", "Troll Slayer" and "NP-Complete".

So, what are your all-time favourite xkcd comics?

I saved time...because I copied the most beautiful comics on my hd.

No particular order:
- Nerd sniping (Since the day my friend and I saw it, we can't stop saying 'I will have no part in this' when we're annoyed :D)
- Useless (so sweet! :))
- Ultimate game
- The man who fell sideways
- Ballmer peak
- Parking
- Going west
- Compiler complaint
- Angular momentum
- I can't find it, it's the comic when the developer girl is trying to get pregnant to "reproduce" the bug.
- All the Elaine series!

...and so many others! :)

-- Winners never talk about glorious victories, because they're the ones who see what the battlefield looks like afterward.

Yea, this topic gave me that same feeling you get on the first day of class (in college) when the professor tells you about your final paper. For me: Its a lot of fun and always turns out be interesting and rewarding, but its a LOT of work.

Great idea, but would take too much work.
