This is my 1000th post. It's awesome. What's even more awesome is that I'm going to a forum meetup tomorrow, so I can celebrate this arbitrary milestone with some forumites.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.

Possibly my proudest moment on the fora.

This right here is awesome. Best 20 minutes I ever spent watching something.

I built a house out of a box for a rock named Bellamy!

I'm not sure why this makes me so happy, it just does. Also, I am eating an ice-lolly. It is delicious.

Ooo, new Big Bang Theory episodes. I'd thought the season ended last month - RESEARCH FAIL. So sheol d/l'd them overnight and I just saw three awesome eps inna row, with at least one more yet to come! Apparently there's also some House, but that can wait till the monthly quota ticks over.

Also awesome - Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban.

Today I single-handedly worked out how to connect a tracheostomy to the equipment we use for examining air supply to the lungs. What elevates this from being an achievement to being awesome is that I remembered the answer from Robert Heinlein's Have Space Suit - Will Travel. I needed to connect two parts that would slot into each other, but not hold together or make a seal. So, as in the book, I held them together and made a fairly tight seal with lots of surgical tape.

Typewriters, they are SO SO awesome, incredibly satisfying when typing and they almost make writing enjoyable for me (bear in mind I do maths, chemistry, physics and Design and Technology at school so the amount of writing I do by hand is low, combined with the fact the staff can't actually read my writing so I in fact do pretty much no writing by hand). They're also great for venting (wrote a letter to my friend on mine when some serious words were needed, only thing is she can probably tell the points where emotions were running a bit high due to the imprint on the other side of the paper!). Oh and the noise they make and all of the random mechanisms on them, beautiful contraptions.
Running around the school's outdoor pursuits store under a bombardment of tent pegs being fired from bungie cords with me as the target, bloody scary but Oh me yarm the feeling when you see a tent peg attach itself to the ceiling and a make massive dent in the door is bloody awesome!

Most awesome day of my life today!
You see, my friends and I (okay, just my friends) are great at making lame jokes incredibly funny. There's a girl we always mess with, one of us took one of her books when she wasn't looking and put it on the inside of his jacket. It took forever for her to notice, even when we kept saying things like "We can read you like an open book", "It certainly is a novel idea". One even went so far as to say "You know, if someone were to take a book, they would probably put it in their jacket. On the left side." Even then it was still a few minutes before she looked at her books, PICKED THE OTHER ONE UP TO LOOK UNDER IT, and still didn't get it was in the one guy's pocket. Then when she wasn't looking again he put it back. She looked at it, and then just looked at us. LOL

Then in PE, this one guy who I suspect may be a bit mentally challenged but he's still the second most awesome person in the class, was wearing the purple clothes he had worn for his Joker Halloween costume, and he demonstrated the laugh... it's great. It actually sounds like a recording played through a cheap speaker in some Halloween decoration. Then later when he got hit on the head with a volleyball, he made a surprised face and just held it... Priceless.

(Don't take any of this the wrong way. He's an awesome person and we have the greatest respect for him.)

And then of course the April Fool's joke on my Biology teacher. Most students just have 6 classes but you can also take a 7th period. So some people had the idea to have last year's 7th period come in and sit down like it was last year. Most of them didn't have a 7th period this year. The teacher went along with it for a while and welcomed the other class to stay.

Then we noticed that the pumpkin he keeps on his desk was gone. Just a normal pumpkin, nothing drawn on it, and lots of people wanted to get rid of it because it was so old, but the teacher likes it. (Almost) nobody knew who had taken it. He kept saying that whoever took it better either bring it back, or make a pie out of it and bring him a slice. Then at the end of class one guy steps outside and brings back a pumpkin pie! GENIUS!

All this in one day. Incredible.

I'm finding the fact that I understand MEI C1 Introduction to Advanced Mathematics a bit of a miracle, that and that I've started revision like on the first day of the easter holidays is just beyond belief for me, the fact that I've got a pile of work to do isn't quite so awesome though!

I'm pretty proud of myself today. There was a party I was invited to through Facebook and I wasn't sure if I wanted to go, I kept making excuses - I've already been to a BBQ today, I probably won't know anyone etc. However I did go, and I had some fun, though I didn't stay very long (work tomorrow...). But I'm really glad I went and didn't give in to my inhibitions.

And Drogba was clearly onside. :P The Macheda one looks dubious, I can't find a video replay from a decent enough angle to say. If it was handball it's certainly a lot less obvious than Drogba's goal.

And whoever the better team is, I can only say this to you: Rochdale, na na na, Rochdale, na na na. We lost on the weekend but we're still top. :D
