It's 4:00 AM, all of the lights are off, the surround sound is set up, I haven't slept in forty hours, and I'm ready for some Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Awww yeah.

I screwed up my tax return form. The IRS corrected it and sent me a letter informing me that I actually get three times what I thought I would get back. Huttah!

After 15 years, the little kids I grew up with, went to school together with, found me on facebook. I'm on top of the world right now.
Summer is miles and miles away, and no one would ask me to stay.
And I, should contemplate this change... to ease the pain.
And I, should step out of the rain... turn away.

A friend of mine has never said the f-word, and says he's saving it for a time when he's *really* angry, and then he says it, and everyone will be like, "woah". I think, instead, he should become valedictorian at our graduation, and at the end of his speech, say "FUCK YEAH!"

I've got an official Bachelor's in Journalism degree now. Know what that means? It means that forever after, I can say "I earned a four-year BJ" with a straight face.

Well, that really depends on your skill, now whether or not it's true. If I had a bachelor's in journalism, I still wouldn't be able to say that with a straight face.

I just saw Saturn through a telescope! Even though I had to stand on a stool cunningly fashioned to look like a fish to be able to see through the eyepiece, it was still really fun.

Things that are awesome:
Books. The pages of different books may all look similar, but they can transport you to RADICALLY DIFFERENT worlds and stories. CRAZY!!
Comic books. So many different stories to get into! And they're colorful and pleasing to the eye! Even more awesome: Trade paperbacks. An entire story in one convenient volume. Comic book shops make me so happy, and they're full of friendly people with whom you may talk about comic books.

You know you live in the future when the new episode of yer telly show downloads in five minutes. I had no idea; my other half does my entertainment procurement for me. I'd assumed it still took most of a day like it did a couple of years back. Halting State Moments are awesome :P

Well, I don't know my results for this year yet, but, unless I've managed to fail my final year project, I'll have passed the year, thus graduated. Not quite sure when I find out what results/class of degree I've got. June/July-ish...

Awesome: pistachio flavored Ciao Bella ice cream. Made my day. The gelato's great by itself and, as if that weren't enough, it's got frozen pistachio nuts in there! I need to get one of those ice cream taster gigs.

My friend is hilarious.

In class, someone wrote on the board "Vote for [candidate #1]" (for Sophomore president next year)

Then I went up and wrote "[My name] supports [candidate #2]"

Then my friend went up and wrote "Go the Ronpaul!!!"

So I drew the blimp from #495.

Edit: okay, Ron_Paul gets filtered. He wrote his name normally.

The WBC seemed to have been lightly made fun, yet otherwise ignored, at Dio's memorial, now that videos have hit the intertubes (I generally hope to never be near LA, but if I were, I'd have gone). That makes me happyglaad (ba-dum-tsh).
