An ampersand (&) is "et" squished into one symbol.

John Adams and John Q. Adams are not the same person. US History makes a lot more sense now...

King Julien from Madagascar is totally Julius Caesar.

The name of the title character of the film "Bambi" is derived from Italian "bambino". I feel slightly more stupid than usual.

In the UK, a branch of the Treasury, responsible for government spending, is the "Office of Government Commerce", often abbreviated to the 3 capital letters.

However, someone didn't think their logo through.

When the new Doctor Who series was first started, in 2005, all the recordings and such were labelled "Torchwood", and various other details were also replaced with anagrams, to limit the number of people who knew that a new Doctor Who series was being worked on... if someone uninvolved happened to see a "Doctor Who" tape lying around on someone's desk they might leak it, but if they saw a "Torchwood" tape they wouldn't think anything of it. The naming of the Torchwood Institute in Season 2 (and the spinoff) was in reference to that.

Yes! And the high-pitched guy from 12 Angry Men is Piglet. His natural voice is the same as Piglet's. Kaa from the Jungle Book and the snake from Robin Hood is Winnie the Pooh.

Also, Samurai Jack is Hermes.

And, continuing on the voice-over theme: Lorenzo Music was the voice of Garfield and Dr. Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters, and when they made the Garfield movie they chose Bill Murray, who played Dr. Venkman in Ghostbusters, to voice Garfield.
