I was amused and close to laugh,
when reading the poem of ThorFluff,
but to my great dismay, you see,
I fail to answer adequately,
cause to my much too big frustration,
I run English on emulation.
It would be far less work for me
if I could run it natively.
But now I will (it's quite absurd)
return back to my home in Hürth.
The forums were quite fascinating,
so I have been procrastinating

It's ok, you're still
winning. ThorFluff had rather
dubious rhymes too.

This is hardly a competition
But instead our mission
not to out do one another
but to this thread smother
in the most random kind creativity
and and to confess our lack of activity
I should be going home aswell
and that I here should tell
That's what the thread is about
of that there is no doubt
English is not my native language either
Yet i know that that rhymes with cider
So let not fear impeed
the usage of skills noone need
For to rhyme
may be a waste of time
But no matter nationality
We can all engage this frivality
But i must agree with the poster above
That you're lyrics one can truley love
But what I lack in quality
I shall make up in quantity

In posting this, I feel compelled
To rhyme so that the pattern's held
I should be getting in the shower
But getting up's beyond my power
After that it's to the doctor
The only rhyme I found was "proctor"
I can't be late to this appointment
Um...la la la la la la ointment?

when first upon thor's rhymes i gazed
my mental state it was amazed
my intent was full to reply in rhyme
but, alas, i lacked the time
at the time i should have been asleep
and so i was, without a peep
now the situation is the same
yet here i play a rhyming game
i much approve of thor's intent
to change this thread's post content
and although now i must depart
i do so with a heavy heart
fellow forumites i bid adieu
and hope you do not end up in a stew.

I should be going to school
but I got distracted by
the poems on the
page, and so
I conform,
without
fully
understanding
why.

edit: shit. NOW I notice t was supposed to rhyme. *facepalm*
I was thinking of either meditating or napping, but the way I do it, there's not much difference except in the explanation to the rest of my family.

A poem is better than nothing
and not something we'll be loathing
This page with rhymes now is packed
and I proclaim this thread successfully highjacked
Also I should be going home
Yet from my office the net I roam

Well, I do feel somewhat frustrated,
no chance in hell, I'm motivated
to leave for some social events
even though this would pose a chance
to see people (and I mean see
not chat with only virt'ally).

But alas, as my browser's lagging,
I remain here, I keep on slacking
and posting in xkcd
because reallife is not for me.

What a grand turn of events this day
This morning i did dismay
For my bowels were turning
and my throat was burning
And nothing was as good
as i thought it would.
But as I arrive at the work of mine
And start my computer yet another time
Not only do i find my favorite thread
On the pages head
With my favorit kind of post
The ones that rhymes does host
But i find that i have trigged
Mr Orange to have me Sigged!
And as dubious as that rhyme may be
you try rhyming with "sigged" and you'll see

Damn you and your quick thinking
Though that rhyme may be stinking
It did not bend in anguish
any words of the english language
And for that you should be commended
no matter how abrutply it ended

apparently, I should be rhyming right now.
when did this business start, and how?
So, I got tired of the fact that the appearance of my band name in my signature made my posts on this forum the dominant result when googling for my music. Anyway, if you think I might happen to be a good musician, you can test this theory here.

If I say that this is left purposely blank, then the statement contradicts the reality, which is that the sig space was not left blank, but had the words 'This space left purposely blank' in it.

I tend to spend an enormous amount of time
on every singel rhyme
This is not due to dedication
fixation, aspiration or constapitation
but due to the fact
that as I write I also act
As a switch board operator
And that in its turn makes me a rhyme creator
Because it forces me to
Think each time through.

EDIT:
Because i do want the credit
For this trend I did start
Even if many did thier part
To alive it do keep
by tossing rhymes on the heep

EDIT 2: It seems i was ninja'd several times
to my delight with the most glorius of rhymes

I thought, "instead of join this game
I should look back a page or four
to see on whom the blame must lie
for starting up this rhyming war."

My mouse wheel scrolled, there's lots of posts
from ThorFluff, xooll and Z.A.K., and hurdie
(And many more, no time to find
them all - this job is long and wordie!)

I'm much too lazy to keep on reading.
Let someone else peruse the rest
to gain poetic education.
They'll read this post, and know the best.
My goal in life is to have money, power, fame, wisdom, and love.
So far, I've got a sense of humor.
It's a good start.

in traditions twofold i am keeping
the first one is "i should be sleeping"
the second one involves this rhyming
and even improving my timing
although when poems are written
their writers are oftentimes smitten
but to this fact please disregard
for i carry not a poet's card
when i said time i meant meter
also i drive an old beater

Good lord what have i Created?
Is this thread so ill fated
That it was so frail
that it could completly derail
by a simple act of rhyming?
Could it be my impecable timing?
Was the thread already dying?
No mod has this been fighting
And the other poster for dominance no longer is vying
Could this be such a rare sighting
where the mods so graciously
let this thread be?
Maybe they thought this thread was lacking
in content of substance
that they let us preform this hi-jacking
and perhaps even approve of our performance?
*snip*
I too should in fact be sleeping

except for when the benefits bear raping
this is totally what I read... o.O

And I'll add a rhyme,
just to keep up the good times

As long as we keep up our rhyming,
I don't think it matters the timing,
as our actions persist,
the mods must admit,
if we keep the purpose going,
which procrastination be showing,
no failure must we remit.

I should eat or sleep
since for a plane I'm waiting
yet fora insist
If I say that this is left purposely blank, then the statement contradicts the reality, which is that the sig space was not left blank, but had the words 'This space left purposely blank' in it.
