In which we learn that knowing 'English' doesn't mean one knows "English" (or English, or [English], or {English} or ...).

Also, who or what is a "Dingo Boy?"

That's easy. A dingo boy is kinda like a chuzzwozzer, only more fair dinkum. Occasionally to be found parking his lunch on yer mum's freshly-washed unmentionables; it's enough to make ya spit the fucken dummy. But only a real drongo would try to bail him up, cause like every second critter down here, the bludgers are venomous and they'll go ya soon as look at ya.

For some reason, the most common reaction I got (granted, the majority of these people were drunk) was "Willy Wonka!" Which really confused me, especially given that my girlfriend was very often near me wearing a blue dress with an apron and a necklace with a bottle on it that says Drink Me. So I'm blaming the alcohol.
That's fantastic, well done :D

So, I did get my Kim Pine costume together and I even got to wear it this year! Waiting for someone to upload the photos. I didn't get to do much for Halloween though. Got food poisoning Saturday night, and nothing went on Friday or Sunday. So I went to larp and dressed up there.

Also, my friends went as the 3rd and 4th Exes (vegan powers activate!) to the bar. They looked awesome :)

Don't have costume pictures yet (I wore '70s style dressy clothes (the pants were my dad's but he hadn't worn them in ~30 years, not because they were out of fashion, but rather because they're so tight they actually force one testicle to the right and one to the left; the shirt was from Goodwill) and got one of these, but put it around my torso like I'd been stabbed in the back. Then I told people I'd gotten all dressed up as a '70s disco guy but was brutally attacked on my way to the party).

Anyways, my Goku pumpkin (please note that it was my first time carving a Jack-O-Lantern, also I was drunk(ish)):

Wow, my favorite part of Halloween is seeing all the cool ideas that people have for costumes. It inspires me to think of what to do for next year!

This year I got rather creative and free-handed some tron-inspired outfits for myself and spi. I used up sooo much fluorescent fabric paint! Oh, we didn't get a pic of the backs, but both costumes had a large broken circular outline in the center back plus the continued belt and some sweet circuit details on the legs.
