Perhaps it would indeed.

Is it only Samsung smartphones that timestamp their photos like that? Or is there some other feature that I've not noticed?

Also, have I posted this one yet?

photo files have metadata embedded in them.

We had a retreat for all the freshmen in my college's honors program today, and we all had to prepare skits. Our class did "1,000 Ways to Die in Ancient Greece," and I was Achilles. The picture doesn't show it, but I had heels on as a spoof on the "Achilles' heel" pun.

In related news, I have a killer Halloween costume now.

aaaaargh but the athenian revisionism about the heel / nigh invulnerability transforms his bravery into cocky assuredness and sucks all of the humanity out of his defiance of all social norms in the embassy and aaaaaaargh

So I got free tickets to a tacky musical called Rock of Ages. It was free 'cause they were filming for the DVD/promotional purposes, and I got, like, fifth row seats. I'm not much of a musicals fan, tbh. I was dragged kicking and screaming to the middle-aged monstrosity that was Mamma Mia, and despite seeing about 50, the only musicals I've ever actually enjoyed are Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, and Dr. Doolittle.

Anyway, I totally ended up on the trailer:

Look at me! (top centre) The smirk betrays I'm clearly having just as much fun, if not more, than everyone around me.

I like how the screenshot is mid-segue between "We Built This City" and "Don't Stop Believing", so it looks like "Don Built This City"

Which reminds me, if one merely rests on the seventh day, surely it only took one six days?

If you do it in six days, then rest for a day, then hand your work in, it effectively took 7 days.

Despite the fact everyone else apart from me & Mrs. Felstaff were 'really going for it', clappy & singy wise, I did actually enjoy myself somewhat. It's not like the travesty of We Will Rock You, that's for darn sure--the humour isn't tortured like Ben Elton's work over the last ten years--and there's a lot of fun stuff. The actors, clearly, are trying to put each other off, and every time the narrator deliberately broke the fourth wall ("Hey! Weren't you in Mamma Mia?" [proceeds to mock lead actor for five minutes]) there were times when the actors strained to stop corpsing. It was a lot of fun, but I probably wouldn't pay for it.
