I have a friend that has the cat shirt.
I need to make a shirt that says:
TERRORIST
(ask me why)

THAT would be a good conversation starter. :)

Wow. I don't know about 22/7, but I'm happy as a clam. A clam that's not dead, or being slurped up with wasabi. I mean to say, thanks!

And as far as the compliments from males go... I'm the one with a friggin' flowery scarf on my head. I think we're even. Although in all fairness to my masculinity, there was a mohawk under there.

Oh a compliment is a compliment surely, regardless of its source...I mean, that wino outside who keeps proposing to me obviously is doing so because he sees what an elegant, enigmatic and alluring creature I am, not just because he's near sedated with cider every night.

This was taken several years ago, which is why I appear so young. But you get the idea.

It was taken with a black-and-white webcam, oddly enough.

Really? It looks like it's just a low-saturation color image. The mouth is definitely redder than its surroundings.

A few quick looks show that it is in fact a greyscale photo. The lips are at most RGB:191,187,186.

Lo! and behold a picture was drawn!

by my friend one bored chemistry class last year. It's actually pretty accurate, except my hair is about double the length and I don't have a gigantic cleft in my chin.

(I think the crazy guy in the corner is the dude who drew it)

I split it into HSL channels. The hue and saturation channels (which are flat black on a greyscale image) have a faint image of the lips and cheeks.
See, I used science.

Why I went to this much trouble (before anyone had even said anything about it) is unknown.

Greyscale means R = B = G.
191 != 187 != 186.

Whenever someone (the female sort of someone) posts a picture of themselves plus one or more others, the forumite is almost invariably the one I hope. Statistically speaking, the attractiveness of xkcd fans appears to be substantially higher than the general population.

To counteract this, here is me, severely in need of a shave, with an odd expression on my face and jelly packets over my eyes:

Hooray for marching band! It's really too bad that it only lasts as long as the football season does, as our school doesn't compete in anything.

On a lighter note, we're doing a circle drill at the next game while playing Ghostbusters. I mean, seriously! Ghostbusters! Maybe someone'll take pictures so I can circle myself in Paint (I'm one of the few who actually marches with high knees. Slackers...)

I said it before and I think a mod got mad at me, but I'm saying it again. We need an xkcd dating service. I'm sure there are ways of keeping the general public out, such as requiring a knowledge of pi to the 8th or the first few lines from the hitchhiker's guide (book of course). I would start it, but I'm known for not being a very good matchmaker. Hehe.
