I don't think I have posted this one in here before, but this is basically what I have looked like for the last couple of days. Exams are frying my brain and all I want to do when I come home and sleep. (It is an old photo, but I really haven't changed in the couple of months since it was taken)

The light source was my bedside lamp I think, most likely pointed towards my roof or directed at me. But I am pretty sure that I used Urban Acid on that photo a little bit, just to bring out the colours a bit more.

Also, thank you =]

Yeah. "Friendly chops" are muttonchops which connect to a mustache, for those who don't know. There were pictures of that as well, but I only donned the hat and monocle for the straightup muttonchops.
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.

No, I'm not a blade snob. I barely know anything about them (other than general types). However, I did notice that you're wearing a pair of Merrell Chameleon II Stretch (Light Brown, if my eyes do serve me). I've got a pair too. Wouldn't have thought to fence in them, but I guess if they'll do for some light approach bouldering, one could make a case for them as a fencing shoe.

Oh, and I suppose I can award the hawt points. Here's your voucher. Check with Cara on your way out so she can "make eyes" at you.

Girls and shoes. I just don't know what to do.

They were great cross-trainers (read: general adventure shoes), but I wore them out. The elastic was a bit goofy for my tastes as well. I'm pimping some Inov-8 320PKs at the moment, which I'm enjoying.

1. I refuse to look at any pictures of Brandon where he's not topless.

2. 22/7 is a boy, apparently, but really he has the wisdom and grounded nature that comes with being a woman, so the mistake is easily made. Also, he keeps checking out the boys I'm checking out, so I worry that we may someday fight over the same man.

3. 22/7, awkward and sticky may not have been the wisest choice of words.

4. I wonder if I were to number all my points henceforth would I become incredibly annoying. (No, I'm not already incredibly annoying)

1. Agreed. And since the club's bylaws state that only a second is needed, it has become forumlaw.

2. Yes he is, and yes it is. And no, that won't ever happen. Bros before... nevermind.

3. I disagree. The last ... *takes shoes off* 13 guys who have "crossed that line" with me all felt quite awkward and sticky afterwards (I keep a bottle of squeeze jelly in one pocket and a bear in the other. You have a gun, I have a bear. That's right, a bear).

4. Surely, no one would find that annoying.

Edit: @aetherson: Mostly in Tejas (that's where I live right now) but I've been a little in Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I dig my Merrells for cold weather approach, but for anything warm I stick with my Keens, especially since in Tejas if you're going climbing, you're near a river.

Doesn't really sound so stealthy, that rubber.

I almost went shoe shopping today, but decided against it, I was in too good a mood, I was liable to buy something ridiculously beautiful and ultimately unwearable.

Oh they usually are wonderful...aesthetically stunning enough to warrant being displayed rather than worn, which is convenient when they're ohmygod impossible to wear for any length of time because the human body was not designed to be distributed over such a tiny area as that found on a pair of stilettos.

rachel wrote:You know what? I really, really, REALLY doubt that, Cara.

Well not with that kind of attitude, no, probably not. Really I seem to have gotten under the skin of some folk here and I genuinely can't think why. Maybe it's down to my making a poor impression, or maybe it's just inherent in human nature for folk to instantly attract or repel.

Sadly, the short version sounds a lot more interesting than the whole story. The Turkish military tried to enlist me (as I have citizenship and they require service from all capable male citizens), but they can't if I can prove to them I currently study and send them four current photographs and a drivers license and all this other crap.

In short, I yelled at Sarah "omgwtfdoido" and she took the pictures for me to send off to the Turkish government. Honestly, it felt like the equivalent of using an ICBM to swat a fly, but I can still call her my hero. :)
