Me at the Great Wall. I know it's not the clearest picture, but I like it.

On a related note, hiking up and down the wall in business casual attire (dress shoes and all) is not pleasant.

You aren't a flight attendant are you...?

Anyway..
After reading the rest of pages 124 & 125, my assertion that this is the best looking community on the internet is further strengthened.

I kind of hate it... it makes me think that attractive, presumably intelligent ladies with a sense of humor at least in the same ballpark as mine must over the place. Then I come out of the woods, come down from my hill, into the real world, and more specifically my podunk little town and realize that this is far... far... EFFING FAR from the truth. Plenty of girls, even some pretty cute ones. Too bad talking to most of them is like plunging into a Jerry Springer PPV event. It says alot when the social event of the season was when Girls Gone Wild sent a couple guys and one camera up to the local dive for a night...

And those precious few good ones are of course taken.

Nope, just a fan of birds. The seagull in the second picture is a pin that used to belong to my grandmother.

Does that answer your question akula? Just here for the pics?

Its a great shot aviary, the pin really works with that shirt.

"Sexy flight attendant"? Never heard that one...
Most flight attendants I've ever seen were pretty ugly.

Kind of... as was said, the name, plus the outfit in that second picture.

It also doesn't help that I'm a pilot and therefore have an obsessive fixation on everything and anything that might have something to do with flying...

mmx: How much of the wall did you walk? I've no clue how long it actually is, but a friend of mine did some sort of week long walk across it and didn't even come close to walking the whole thing. I think he said it was something like five thousand miles long. Either way, that's a pretty kick ass place to be, I'm sorta jealous.

Ren: You look like my sister if my sister was pretty.
Edit: That sounds mean, what I meant to say was you look like a prettier version of my sister. Even that sounds sorta mean though. I like my sister, she's an alright girl, but Ren looks like her with more good looks. I don't think there's a nice way to say this...

Yeah, though I think its a lot less prevalent now that they don't give out playing cards and other freebies, and they're out of the miniskirts and really silly uniforms too. No doubt we men will find "better" things to fixate on.

Akula wrote:Kind of... as was said, the name, plus the outfit in that second picture.

Aviary == birdhouse. Pin == bird. My guess: ornithologist or (more likely) just someone with a bit of a thing for birds.

xndrew: Maybe a quarter-mile, both ways, but it is huge. It stretched off into the horizon in both directions. Man, I can't imagine what a week walking it must be like, though. Sounds like a heck of a camping trip.

mmx: Some of the prettiest pictures I've ever seen, that's certain. He said that they would walk something like twenty miles a day or something. He's a known exaggerator, for the record, and is constantly ambiguous with terms and numbers so he can meld them into whatever story he may be telling at the time. But none the less, he walked on the great wall for a long time, took lots of pictures, and met some weird people. Sounds fun to me.
