Found one from last year. I really don't have a lot of pictures of me at all. XD I'm usually the one behind the camera.
Spoiler:

Me with my fiance, wearing my best "Take the damn picture already!" face. I never could get that choker to lie straight. :(

Edit: Fun note. I'm actually wearing heels in that shot. I am that damn short.

Found another one! Me kayaking in St. Thomas, right before getting really, really badly sunburned. And I was wearing sunblock!

I don't think I could ever get used to an open kayak. I'd much rather be strapped in with a spray skirt so I can roll over if I need to.

How did you like the kayak?

I much prefer the enclosed ones myself, but they only had the open ones available for rent. It was a lot of fun, though. :) And the open top one has a benefit. A few of us paddled out to the limit of where we were allowed to take them, then lay down and relaxed for a little while in the water.

Hence the oh-my-god sunburn afterwards, but it was worth it!

I'm with you on this one joe, I like being strapped in to the kayak, makes you feel more like part of the boat, and more able to maneuver. She's on open water though, so maybe she's not to worried about that.

Back with the creepiness: I think Calire[1] is a cool name (I've never heard of it before), but it's common to use a monosyllabic form. Do you have one?

No, actually. And anyway, not all nicknames are monosyllabic-- try Rickie for Richard or whatever.

I went by Eric for a semester in highschool. It has nothing to do with my first, middle or last name. The guy was a stoner and said he would never remember my real name and that I looked like his friend Eric. My friends thought it was the funniest thing and just went with it, so Eric I was. I even ran into him years later he recognized me, called me Eric and asked how I was doing.

I was going to guess high school sports banquet, or service project at a senior center.
Or a swing dance at the senior center?

I also had a giggle at your username. Is it intentionally a play on "script kiddie" or do you actually like kitties?

Also, I second Fossa's remark. Stunningly beautiful indeed.

Yeah, sea kayaking generally (or at least this was my impression) is done with open tops. Supposedly flipping it isn't really an issue.

Also with closed kayaks, you MUST know how to roll BEFORE you go out.
In related news, I finally hand-rolled last Thursday! It took a few weeks of practice, but it's all good now.
