I would post a pic of myself...but the only picture resembling recent that I have yet to post in this thread belongs in that other Anti-Face thread.

Details for those who care:
Spoiler:
I'm working on building a digital clock using a Nixie Tube display. The frequency counter the tubes are being salvaged from is just to the left of the monitor. I'm actually sort of reverse-bootstrapping this project- the frequency counter is being used to make sure the timebase works, and after that it's taken apart. Next to the counter is an old-school style breadboard (plank of wood) which is for prototyping the 300v power supply.
As this was taken, I was arranging the physical layout of the bottom circuitboard.
By now, the 5v power supply and the timebase generator are soldered in and working perfectly. Unfortunately, I smoked the ballast resistor for the HV supply and have to find a more robust one.

Yeah, my room is pretty sweet.

I bought the board and all the components. I'm not that good at ee yet, as it's just a hobby. However, I did build the case. I'm in the process of building two more of the clocks. One In going in a case made of copper tubing/wood. And I haven't figured out the other case yet.

Exactly! Mine's a little smaller, and the case it's going into is an aluminum box with a window. I'll continue this conversation via PM.
I'm not a great ee either- this project is about 10 times more complex than anything I've done before. But I'm learning so much!
