Thanks girls! I am a little concerned about the whiteness, but the collar isn't so high that makeup rub off would be an issue, and the three quarter length sleeves should keep the cuffs clean, so I reckon I'll be alright.

Jessica has a lady friend now?!?! Oh I'm so happy for you missus, you look frightfully happy, too!

It's a nice coat, you should keep it.

Finally decided to post my facerity from an actual camera. This is me at Greenbelt (Christian music festival) a few months ago. I'd been camping for a few days, hence MENTAL HAIR and tired eyes. Second one is in Malawi, during a trip over the summer.

Welcome back angelene! That coat is lush. Love your style, as always. I unfortunately, can never have a white coat or anything majorly white, because i'm actually physically incapable of not spilling something like tomato soup or hot chocolate down it as soon I buy it. I just get crazy hand spasms, similar to the citizens seen in this Fatboy Slim video.

And thanks for the foxy remark! :P

But yeah, if it wasn't clear, the second one added after that picture collapsed it.

So, I have a question for ya.

How much do those masks restrict your breathing? More than a bandanna? Less than those air filter masks? Are they rigid or do they have some give to them - ie do you have a smushed nose?

And if they're bandanna or less and don't give you a smushed nose, where did you get them?

How much do those masks restrict your breathing? More than a bandanna? Less than those air filter masks? Are they rigid or do they have some give to them - ie do you have a smushed nose?

And if they're bandanna or less and don't give you a smushed nose, where did you get them?

The first mask I'm wearing (with the eyelets in it) is just a piece of vinyl that is held over your ears with elastic straps. It doesn't restrict your breathing but can make you a bit hot, especially in a crowded club. My friend makes them and I bought it from a local store.

The second mask (with the gear-type things on it) is molded rubber and doesn't affect my breathing but I've had friends say it is too restrictive for them. I got it online but last time I posted the link to the website it got [redacted] by a mod.

It helps if you have a bit of a gasmask fetish because then any breath-restriction is probably a positive for you.

Also, the masks are fairly rigid and don't smush your face. Imo, they're probably slightly more comfortable than a bandanna because of the rigidity. And they sit better on your my face than those air-filter ones because they don't come as close to my eyes.

doogly wrote:I am looking cross because you brought a pre tied bow tie to a bow tie showdown, which I also now declare to be in session.

That, my dear Sir, is what I call a bow tie. However, the reasons for my pretied tie are (a) no one has ever shown me how to tie a bow tie *cue gasps of shock* and (b) I have no idea where to get a self-tie tie from. Seeing as we've started on the confessions, the guy on my right is wearing another of my ties as he doesn't posses one of his own - I have a black one to wear with a red formal shirt, as I find people complain if I wear a red tie with a red shirt.

Yeah, the main reason I haven't been bothered to find solutions to (a) are because I can't actually find solutions to (b). Either we have rubbish suit shops where I live or I'm looking in the wrong ones!
