This has been bugging me. 8, 0, and 5 are all the same upside-down, so why even flip it? just put 80085.

All these cool avatars. Methinks I should finally try to produce a "quantum troll" picture. Sounds like a Photoshop challenge for tonight :)

I'm thinking animated gif...

Anyone have thoughts/suggestions?

This avatar is an image stolen (I mean, borrowed) from a T-shirt I saw one day. I wanted to have that shirt so badly, but never saw it for sale anywhere. So now I use it as my avatar, instead.

It's from the anime called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Extra points if you already knew before I said it!

Back in high school, each of the seniors was given a full page in the yearbook. I, along with one of my friends, didn't really feel like doing the whole pictures of friends/telling friends how awesome they are thing. Instead, we each took half of the walrus that is now in my avatar, and when the yearbook came out there was an awesome two page spread of a walrus.

Mine's ripped of an article about how Canadians are second only to the Chinese when it comes to piracy. Hence the Canadian Maple Leaf and the pirate symbol.

Well it looks like I just lost a bet. I always said that Canadians and piracy don't mix. My avatar is from a movie poster. I forgot which one. I don’t think it needs explanation but I will give a brief introduction. When two teddies bears are in prison and one drops the soap……..

Mine is a picture I drew in my folder at school in a boring lesson. I decided they were far too happy to be trapped there forever so I set them free on the internet after colouring on Paint.net.
There are two of the whales in the full picture, the one in my avatar is a baby one.

Apparently so, if I asked it. It just seemed like an odd thing to google.

On the other hand, what is google for but searching for wierd things.

Man, the F-14 was awesome. I can understand why they're retiring it (30 years of service will beat the hell out of an aircraft no matter how many patches you put on it), but damn it was fine.

I'm really not entirely sure why Dschingis Khan hating Tony Danza is so damned funny, but it really is.

Mine is my custom avatar in Kingdom of Loathing, gifted to me by a friend, drawn and animated by another friend, and edited by an old housemate whom I suppose I still consider a friend to conform to the game's artwork standards.

It's a generic KoL stick figure type, but feminine-looking, holding a staff that's an emblem of Warehouse 23, my clan, and singing. (You can tell it's operatic singing because of the hat.) Because if there's anything anyone associates me with, apparently it's singing.

Honestly, it's the least obnoxious animated avatar I could conceive of, and while it seemed a no effort choice, at least it's not impersonal.

(Bonus points to anyone who knew that ahead of time).
