It's called the Vergina Sun, I kid you not, and was (and is) a symbol of Modern and Ancient Macedonia. I made it myself with Photoshop ( :D ( Not really, I messed with the coloring, size, and a few other things from a stock photo, when I had nothing else to do ) )

Mine is from a book I read as a child, called 'Not Now Bernard!' wherein our titular hero is trying to tell his parents about a monster in the garden. They don't listen to him (always saying: "Not now Bernard!")
Spoiler:
The monster then eats Bernard, and goes to try and scare his parents, who pay him no attention (telling him "Not now Bernard!"). The monster then returns to the garden and sits and feels sad.

Spoiler tags because well maybe you don't well the twist of silly children's' books ruined for you.
Also this may or may not be an inaccurate account of the plot. It has been a while since I read it.
I mostly lurk. Hello.

That is one children's story I'm sad about because I didn't read it.

My avatar is the amazing piece of art created by Lawrence Yang called "kraken". But all of his art is fricking amazing and I'd have sex with his art if I could. I want one of his works someday. ( You can order them from his site, http://www.suckatlife.com or http://www.blowatlife.com )

He's just awesome.

Several years back a link was shared on a forum I used to frequent. It led to a site where you could virtual spraypaint on a virtual wall with other people and create stuff or just mess around. When I clicked on the link, I noticed I was the only one there. I was the only one there for quite a while, in fact. I realized I could make something decent without it being interrupted/messed up.

I was Cloud Walker on that forum, as well, and I decided to paint something related to that. So I made an evening sun hanging low over a "plane" of clouds with a person wandering on top of them. I thought it came out pretty well, given the tool I had. My avatar is a cropped and shrunk part it:

I was thinking one day that I needed to get an avatar. I saw this image on a Joystiq post and thought, "that'll do". Hintss removed part of the background, and I haven't looked for the original to change it back. I should get around to finding an image that has some kind of personal meaning.

This was a picture a friend drew for me a couple years back that I assumed was completely original, then accidently stumbled across it online. Evidently it was copied, but I was not at all sad about it. I took the picture and decided to slap it on my profile.

Mine is a picture of me falling off wet rock, in a boat.
Specifically the rock-ledge is called fishladder (because there's a fishladder just off camera to my left, and the boat is (in spite of apperances) a highly specialised open canoe.
