My avatar is a delete button (well, duh).
I copied it from some forum I used to mod a few years ago, and I used it ever since, mainly because I'm too lazy to think of something better.

This thing happened a few months ago where all the avatars were replaced with this. I kept it out of laziness, but I've actually grown rather fond of it

You're welcome. Then again, I'm envious of anyone who displays even a shred of talent for visual arts, since I suck at it myself. So maybe that's where the praise really comes from - simple jealousy. But yeah, it's a cool pic.

it's me - taken on our travels around the world, give me some time, and I'll figure out where...

I'm guessing here, but I think it was taken in that large (huge) park in San Francisco, maybe somewhere near the north east corner of the park... any Friscans care to correct/verify that?

can't really tell, unless you look closely at the reflection in the glasses, but the date, 21st May (2007) fits to around about when we were in San Fransicso.

The posts in this thread are deliciously more random since a good portion of the users have since changed their avatar.

The existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.

Not to mention his ever worsening madness as evidenced by the fact that he not only talks to his friend Catherine, but the cat "speaks" back.

(Does the fact that Garfield "speaks" in thought bubbles indicate that it's in Jon's head or that he's telepathic? Is Mr. Arbuckle the cat whisperer?)

Mine is a quick download from Lene Marlin's website, because:
(A) I am a dog person
(B) In a previous relationship, my ex-gf's pet name for me was "doggy" (i'm saying this with a straight face without the slightest hint of embarrasment :P ). It's over now, but I'm keeping all my dog-related associations.
(C) I am a fan of Lene Marlin

Mine is a Cookie! With Angel wings.
I made it with GIMP a few years back using a picture of a cookie I found on google, and a picture of a pair of wings (also found on google). I've never gotten around to making anything new/better.
