Wait, are you saying we should not insult members of the set "bastards," or are you exhorting us not to be members of the set "insulting bastards?"

Really annoying misconception: when you are debating someone, cutting in while the moderator is talking does not make you look like an ass. (And this is actually annoying (I cringed every time McCain and Obama did this), and it would appear to be an misconception, judging by the number of times it happened for no reason.)

Well, that's an argument that won't get anywhere without some cites. Here's Oxford:

atheism |ˈāθēˌizəm|
noun
the theory or belief that God does not exist.
DERIVATIVES
atheist |ˈeɪθi1st| noun
atheistic |ˌāθēˈistik| |ˈˈeɪθiˈɪstɪk| |-ˈɪstɪk| adjective
atheistical |-ˈistikəl| |ˈˈeɪθiˈɪst1kəl| |-ˈɪstɪk(ə)l| adjective
Raise up the torch and light the way.

That said, you're not going to get very far with something small enough to fit comfortably in one hand.

Some of the most enjoyable jokes are the ones that a lot of people don't understand. This is a root cause of the spread of most Internet memes and roughly all Monty Python quotes.

RAM [that's a legitimate abbreviation, right?]: My dad going on about how America would rather elect a black man than have a woman in the white house.
This statement makes me want to roll up my sleeves and punch things. Okay, maybe there are a few people out there who see it that way, but it's not about that. I mean, you just have to see how people feel about Obama to know it's not about that.
Also, I have no idea if he was talking about Palin or Clinton.
I'm still not too sure what kind of a sentient being would want Palin running anything.
