I went to the Dream Girl thread and saw everybody there had at least TWO, not one, posts, and was surprised. Great to see people are using the introductions thread.

Hello. I still curse the day I read all of the XKCD archives. I had little sleep that night. It was like painful pleasure. I read the forums too and I would like to say that you people are very strange.

I am an engineering student at academia's liberal stronghold. Mechanical. Bitches.

Try to guess the significance of my name.

Engineering IS fun. If you like math. And like knowing that you speak the language that can literally force the world to do your bidding.

Well, not literally... at least not yet.

Well... that depends what the subject is. I'm hoping games programming/design is okay for that, i hear it isn't terrible as long as you're good at it

I'd rather have a low paid job that I enjoy than a high paid job that I hate.
You spend more of your life working than you do persuing your own hobbies, so make your job fun.
(It is for this very reason that I decided to take a degree in games design rather than physics. Well; that and the lazyness. I could probably have succeeded in a physics degree, but it would be a lot more work.)

Or...I could do both, spend 5 years of life working my arse off with little to no money, but loving every minute of it.

Plus, at the end I'll have two degrees.

see pebbles, the key is to just let these people slide. they don't really matter individually. (no offence, you all matter in your own lives, just not mine.)
instead take heed of those who cross your path in the rest of the forum.

also welcome new folks, enjoy your stay, and whatever it brings.
