You're braver than I am, addams. I still think from a human perspective dreams make more sense than reality. The past doesn't go away.

I dreamed I was being sued by a blog for reading one of their stories, after they published it and before they unpublished it at a legal demand. Not only did I know (in the dream) they didn't have a legal leg to stand on, but I subsequently proved that my retrieval was after they unpublished it.

All I can say about this dream is, "WTF!"
In all fairness...

Lots of dreams. Only thing I can remember. Felt kind of like a film. I was impersonating somebody famous, maybe an author. Was talking to an actor playing somebody, and I think he mentioned how the person I was impersonating was in Iceland recently. I made some comment, then Seal walked out. He was the Prime Minister of Iceland, and made it obvious that I wasn't who I was impersonating.

I don't remember much, but here's the end of the dream before I woke up:

I enter my bedroom through a secret entrance in the side. Said entrance disappears, and I bang on the wall where it used to be, trying to get out. I then see my cousin running past the regular entrance and about to go up the stairs that are where the laundry room door would normally be, and take a reaction shot*. Then somebody (I don't remember who) tells me to get in the shower. Then I woke up.

*a reaction shot like one from XCOM: Enemy Unknown

One - was in a bathroom at work(but in a new building). Someone started opening the door and I realized I hadn't locked it. Hopped up and kept it closed, then worried that whoever it was wouldn't go away.

Was at my old house, except the layout was way different. I was in the attic, but it was like 30x30 with 20 foot ceilings. Was packing things up or cleaning up, there was no furniture, just stuff on the floor. At one point went out to the garage, then outside. There was a big post at the corner of the garage, and it had sunk into the ground. I realized the whole house was sinking and was going to collapse soon. Then I worried about all the financial implications.

Was visiting an ex-gf and her so. They borrowed my vacuum cleaner, took it upstairs still plugged into a chain of three short extension leads, so I unplugged them from the wall for them. Left the nozzles and bits on the sofa by the front door, which worried me. Some scene in the kitchen, and he told me if I was ever {something} I must {something}, like remembering to turn a light off, but I forget the detail. We ate in a newly-refurbished Indian restaurant, which was now 4* not 3*. It was good. Later I was across the street and a woman was looking at the menu in their window and unsure about the fourth star, so I walked across the street on my hands to assure her it was merited, then tried to roll to my feet but had to push with a hand so it wasn't all that elegant. Somehow came to be in a shoe shop, looking at shoes. Something about the meek little girl, nicknamed Fieldmouse, from my class at school thirty years ago trying to get into a place and the tall girl helping her. Yes, I remember their real names. No, I didn't have a crush on either of them. Frickin' brain. Last detail was first-person footage from a USMC patrol in some street when there was about to be a firefight, and the guy whose view I was seeing was in a really exposed position.
Oh, Willie McBride, it was all done in vain.

Played a massively multiplayer online game. Mixed traditional fantasy with Kirby-like aesthetics. Grouped with seven others. Selected the hardest difficulty. Noticed others dying quite often. Asked if they wanted to turn it down. Replied no.

Continued for a while. Never reached the end goal, due to others' commitments. Expected as much, though. Took ages to access. Told the last remaining party member to grab the boss's loot. (Had a full inventory. Did not need a bow and whatever else either.) Discarded a silver baton with a red ribbon on top. Recognized it as good. Tossed out leaf-themed furniture for it. Summoned Sandsilt Warriors, evidently.

Transformed into World of Warcraft here. Queued for a random dungeon. Mashed together Azjol-Nerub, Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom, and Utgarde Pinnacle. Entered during the second boss. Dealt with an incoming monster. Let them destroy the boss.

Ran to the final boss. Burned through most of their hitpoints quickly. Received a message while waiting for a phase change. Asked how close level eighty (the maximum level) was. Answered six levels away. Grew angry. Ranted about leeching stuff from them.

Realized this was a heroic dungeon (see: maximum level) at that time. Meant to queue for normal mode. Told them so. Added lying to their complaints. Tried to persuade them otherwise. Failed. Insisted they knew the truth. Led to another person getting involved. Sounded skeptical.

Woke up around then. Avoided part of an argument, at least.
Changes its form depending on the observer.

Recurring Nightmare:
This Time I had jumped into the dirty New York City River water for a quick swim.
(what a stupid thing to do)

I was with my Sister or a Good Friend.
We were waiting for a Ferry to come.

I was in the water when it dawned on me,
"This water is Dirty. I want Out!"

For some reason I couldn't swim.
My legs were tangled in grass.

Whoever it was I was waiting for the Ferry with;
That person was Not going to get wet for me.

I was getting frightened when I woke up.
I think I know 'Why' this Recurring Nightmare.

My blankets are heavy.
I am struggling to move.

The last Time I was fighting my way up a cluttered stairway.
This Time I was fighting grass in dirty river water; Same Thing.
Life is, just, an exchange of electrons; It is up to us to give it meaning.

Was travelling somewhere, I think with my brother and one of his friends. It was jumbled, but at one point we were trading who was driving, then all of a sudden I was driving to meet them. I took two pills to keep myself awake, then the walls started vibrating and I heard music coming from them. I was scared because I was driving and couldn't react to anything. Then traffic got all backed up, and I was walking out of a stairwell into an airport along with everyone else that had been stuck in traffic. I was meeting my friend Jeremy, and one of my sister's friends. We were going to fly someplace...there was more, but I forget details.

Also, had a dream about being too busy with schoolwork. Was mad at myself because I had a bunch of work for different classes that I needed to get done. It was Thursday night, and it was all due Friday, and I was mad at myself for wasting the previous weekend. - It actually was Sunday night, and I've been out of school more than 10 years.

Saturday night's dream. Was at a brothel, and was in bed with a pretty blond woman. We had sex, but then I was mad at myself for cheating on my girlfriend. Later, my parents were getting a tour of the place with me. It wasn't obviously a brothel. They were there because it was a cool looking old house, and there was a contest to win a prize if you could guess how many stairs there were in the whole place. The woman I slept with started coming up to me, but I motioned to her I didn't want people to know we'd met. I think she ended up acting as a tour guide for us. Later we were leaving, and she whispered '700' to me, which was supposed to be the number of steps.

Had another end of the world dream. These are not a common thing for me - this is the third one, lifetime, that I can remember. (Spoiler alert: I'm now 0-3 in saving the world.)

So, in this dream, the universe is created and managed by intelligent entities. It is implied that these are neither divine beings, advanced aliens, nor programmers-of-a-simulation. Somehow, there's a fourth option, though what that is isn't exactly clear. It's like, the nature of reality is not what anyone thinks it is, and somehow there's a role for these beings in its management. I am not a human myself, but also not one of these things - I'm some sort of in-between class of being, that knows about them and can interact with them, while still living a normal life as a human most of the time.

Well, one of these entities in particular has been a long-time frenemy. There's definitely a Hercules/Ares (from Hercules the Legendary Journeys) thing going on here. Like, we fight, but also occasionally are on the same side when the threat warrants it (this is implied anyway - no other events prior to the action of the dream are depicted).

Well, one day, this entity decides its going to destroy the world, the universe, reality, everything. I assume it's just annoyed about something and ranting, but then it begins to make good on that threat. We've always had this rivalry and it's always been a hothead, but never really gave any indication before that it would actually do something like this.

Needless to say, I try to stop it. But, as I'm not on its level, this basically consists of me chasing it around as the world deteriorates around us - yelling at it, asking it why it's doing this, alternating trying to reason with it with trying to catch it and fight it.

At first, this is like an action movie scene. Highways clogged with traffic of people trying to escape burning cities, volcanoes erupting, etc. But the deterioration accelerates, into crumbling mountains and cities sinking beneath the waves... over a little while it escalates from action-movie-level to everyone-is-dying-and-the-world-is-actually-ending level. The entity shows no signs of letting up, or accounting for itself, and I continue to chase it, as the ground starts to fall away into roiling, flaming nothingness.

This isn't really giving the impression of a hellscape. It's more like being able to see the structure behind reality - dull red, glowing, swirling subspace. It's not just the land falling away, but everything - as the planet crumbles, space crumbles away with it. Even at this point there's still some earth, and some wailing people, and ruins of civilization. I continue to chase the entity, and the ground continues to crumble, until the edges of the path we're running on come into view. And, the crumbling continues, and the path becomes narrower. I'm never going to catch it, it's far more powerful than me, and is staying right in front of me just to make that point.

The path continues to crumble, until it's only feet wide and breaking apart, and I'm having to pick my footing just to keep from falling away myself. And finally, the gig is up - there are only a few small rocks left, barely enough to stand on, the entity and I, suspended in the vortex. The chase is over. Reality is ended. There's nothing left to save.

At this point it turns to me and offers a minimal explanation - that it was determined (not just by it, but by the authority of all the members of its class), that the current reality was not meeting the potential they had hoped for it, and it was time to try something different, and that it wasn't personal - it was just the lucky one who got to be the instrument of annihilation/recreation this time. The entity expressed to me that even though we'd always had a rivalry, it truly admired my idealism, and, as its class planned on taking a less active roll in management of the next universe, it hoped I would accept the lead reality-management position.

I was incredibly angry that it had just ended everyone and everything I'd ever known - basically committed a universal holocaust - but it explained that the alternative was that it let the last rocks I was standing on fall away, and me with them, and it would make the next universe just the same without me, and it hoped I would see the wisdom in its offer. And that anyway it was very sincere in its belief that I would be a good reality-manager - that whatever our differences, it regarded my abilities highly.

After fuming for a little bit, I accepted (both not wanting to be ended myself, and believing that I had to have a chance of doing a better job than it and its class had.) After accepting, the new reality blinked into existence instantly.

This one was a lot different. There were humans, more or less, with more or less similar levels of intelligence and somewhat similar social structures. The first notable difference was the universe was a lot smaller - the entities evidently decided that whatever objectives they were trying to achieve could be achieved in a lot less space. I'm talking like a relatively large cave system, that housed maybe a couple thousand people with a relatively low population density. Only the walls of the cave weren't rock, but the end of the universe. It's not like there was anywhere to drill to - the amount of space we were given was the amount of space we had, period.

While humans communicated and interacted in superficially similar ways, it was implied that very little to none of our time was spent working, or eating, or doing any of the sorts of things that took up most of our days in the previous reality. And that's not to say it was a paradise of leisure - just that the basic requirements of survival were apparently completely different. People apparently spend a lot of time wandering, sometimes settling down for a while in a community, and other times setting out into the caves and not interacting with anyone else for months or years (and apparently having no need of food or shelter or fear of indigenous life).

It was not at all immediately clear to me what this reality had to offer over the last one. I spent the first little while of my time as reality-manager attempting to interact with the natives, and find out what value there was to be had for them from this life. Communicating with them was not easy (not because of a language barrier, but more because of an incompatibility of thought), nor what figuring out what interested or motivated them. The walkabouts they went on seemed to be very important to them, though, so I finally decided to go on one myself, and see if I understood anything better when I came back.

The dream ended here.

Was with some archaeologists or something. We somehow traveled back in time, and were trying to figure out how far. We went between different sites that had a bunch of clay, because they could dig up artifacts at the places they'd found them in the future. No artifacts meant we were before whatever period that was.

Later, we were trying to get back to the future, and there was a bad guy that was a vampire, or was infected with vampire disease or something, and was trying to go back to the future with us.

Some jumbled stuff about being at my paternal grandparents' house.

Was at a camp, kinda like Boy Scouts, and there were groups of us competing against each other. Lots of outside stuff, but also in a huge house. I was trying to find a place to plug my phone in, and had to go around and through one room where the adults/leaders were. Had to convince them to let me through, but there was a board on top of a stove backed up against these big sliding doors. They slid them open and I had to shimmy between the stovetop and something else, while a guy was cooking on it.

Went to a meat shop, and didn't feel like buying any meat, so they tried to sell me caramel rolls.

For some reason bought a maroon mobility scooter. Went to take it home and it wouldn't fit in the trunk of my car, so I tried to return it. I think I bought it at a Goodwill or something, then returned it at a Cub Foods. They gave me $10 for it.

Put a shovel-load of bird food in one place, all mixed together. Tried to scoop it up to spread it out in my usual way. Spilled it everywhere. Couldn't put it back in tubs because it was mixed together, had put out too much to spread over just the usual spots. Tried anyway.

I was in a story that was simultaneously a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean but also involved aliens or at least space ships, and was possibly related to both Alice in Wonderland and the Transformers movies, or maybe something in the dream just made dream-me think of those other movies and how the events in the story I was in were similar and different. (Something about stories usually beginning with a character slowly discovering and entering into the world of the strange and mysterious, but this story instead just starting with that as already well-known and jumping straight into it, or something like that).

Also involved, in what capacity I'm not sure, was a winding mountain road with scattered snow around the mountains (but a clear day, and the road clear and dry), at sunset so everything was cast in gorgeous pink-purple light, possibly inspired by a Mac OS X desktop image and the actual mountain roads that get pink moments like that around here, and the fact that we got a rare snow recently. The road was accessible somehow as though through a door, like it was a set in a building full of different sets, but also an enormous real place high up in the mountains, the "soundstage" being bigger on the inside. In fact I think some kind of stage theater was the connecting theme between all these different things, though they were also actually real, e.g. Will and Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean had to reassemble their boat from the disassembled pieces of it stored in a props/set-pieces storage locker, so that they could go continue fighting alien space ships on the high seas or something.

I've stopped dreaming of struggling to reach an un-reachable destination.

I was given a lovely Mohair Blanket from Finland.

Sense that blanket has moved to a bench,

Last night I was standing on the top of a very high mountain and suddenly I slipped and fell from that height. I woke up the very next moment. This is the seventh time I'm dreaming like this.

Not last night (can't remember, now, what was), but still fragmentally in memory for the last few days. There was maintenance work on the railway, so a Bus Replacement Service was covering for the route. Only the 'bus' waiting at the roadside outside of the station was... a train!

There were complications to this (you'll be surprised to learn, I'm sure), in that there were tram-tracks along one stretch of the road, which the road-bound train needed to stay off, lest it gets... er railroaded into following the tracks. Apparently the rudimentary, auxiliary and obviously necessary steering capability that the train possessed needed to steer off at the greatest angle. Deliberately derailing itself... obviously... from the foreign tracks, letting it roll along the paved road 'as intended'.

Also, being a train, it had a lot of power. We reached 100mph easily. To the chagrin of a police patrol vehicle that took interest in our speeding process. (The train guard mentions this, though I had noticed already, then tells us not to worry because "*mumble mumble* something about more than two axles *mumble mumble*". It made sense at the time. Naturally.)

At speed, and probably with a frustrated police vehicle still in rapidly receding pursuit (oblivious to our immunity from the usual rules), we rapidly catch a queue of traffic, at some roadworks, and plough straight through a pile of sand in the closed off lane, with no apparent degradation of forward velocity.

I'm not sure anything happened after that. I think I woke, after no bad consequences arose from our obviously reckless headlong rush with nary a consideration for the problems we were obviously encountering or even causing...

I've heard people say that becoming lucid (i.e. realising they're dreaming) makes them more able to control their dreams.

That never works for me. I find it just as hard to do things in dreams regardless of whether I know I'm dreaming.

For example, last night, at one point in my dream, I was about to walk into the office where I work, wearing only my underwear. I realised it was a dream, and thought it would be funny to just take my pants off and walk in naked. But I couldn't get the pants off, no matter how hard I tried!

I dreamed that one of two people walking the other way recognised me as the one who'd done something legal and moral but highly offensive to scum and deliberately wrapped him leg around my ankles as if trying to trip me up. I didn't trip, but did realise he'd wiped muck from his trousers onto mine. I tried to wipe it off on his hips, missed and kicked the pavement, hard. This hurt. It also made a "bong" sound. He laughed at me. My toe really hurt, because I'd really kicked the bed frame. The "bong" sound was a hardwood double bed frame bouncing under the impact.

It doesn't work well for me, either. Sometimes, if I realize I'm dreaming, I'll soon wake. Other times, it leads to me struggling to speak or open my eyes. Instead of speaking, I can typically only let out a quiet wail, moan, or mumble. Sometimes, I can open my eyes, but I'll still be dreaming. If I see something in my bedroom (inevitably what is directly in my line of vision, since my body typically does not move when this occurs), my mind will interpret it as something else, often as a face or eyes. For example, once I remember perceiving the light fixture on the ceiling was an eye looking at me. I don't really think it looks much like an eye, but it is round. I think this is what is called sleep paralysis.

oh, Horrors!

I went to sleep watching U-Tube.
A little light news, I thought.

For some reason YouTube did not Stop.
In its Wisdom it kept moving to News.

I honesty thought I was having a NightMare!
A man kept saying the same thing; Over & Over.

U-Tube had moved to the full length version of:
The Latest Press Conference of Orange Man's Press Secretary.

I forced myself to wake up. We are living in a NightMare!
He really Was not answering one question after the other.

EDIT: Yes, New User.
If I try to speak in a dream,
I also mumble or groan.

That sound often wakes me.
Snoring doesn't, usually.

Forgotten most of it. What I recall - was at a conference of some sort. At one point was sitting around a table for a meal, then the meal finished and everyone started dancing. Was also chatting with a pretty woman next to me, and we danced together. It was really fun, then people's phones started buzzing. It was 12:55 PM, and time to get back to the conference, because apparently this was over lunch. Someone brought me my coat, which was a tan suit coat that I don't own.

Some sort of walk somewhere and back, along the side of a river. Really hard going, steep banks, lousy footing. Was with a group of party people. Didn't seem bad sorts, for humans. One guy and his naked, curvy, blonde, lightly tanned girlfriend were in the bed pushed up against the side of mine, so I was awake. She rolled out of his bed and into mine, so I spooned up behind her to sleep. We all went to the showers in the morning. Someone asked me where I'd got my towel. I said I'd carried it, which amazed them because it was big. Blonde woman got into the shower. Her boyfriend and I were waiting. I pushed him in with her. When my turn came I was in there about ten seconds before someone expected me to be done already so he could have a turn. I rinsed off and got out, and some one-striper told me I'd have to skip breakfast and go straight to work because they were short-handed. I agreed and he left, then I remembered that (1) I outrank him and (2) we've all been ordered by the Colonel, who outranks us both, to eat breakfast every day.

Also dreamed I'd overslept and was late for work. Dreamed that twice.

Good morning.
Oh, Willie McBride, it was all done in vain.

In my dream last night, my dad got really annoyed because I expected him to know how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Was on a small plane with other people, and we were landing on a floating air base thing. All metal, only a few feet out of the water. We landed safely, but there was turbulence. On the base, it was cold and snowy. We went inside, and at some point I was eating corn, and got a cricket in my mouth, and was trying to scrape it out. There was an area where people slept, but it was just all these tents along a curved wall. Also, I got wet either from showering, or rain, or something. Needed to dry off and change. Someone led me to a back room and I started drying off. A pretty woman came in and just hung out chatting with the guy that took me to the back room. I was a bit embarrassed, so tried to change with a towel wrapped around me.

I had an obsession with tents in my dreams, earlier. But the details are too fuzzy to fully report.

My old tent was pitched in a shopping centre (along with others) in an area later damaged by a terrorist bomb or othe explosion of some kind. Meanwhile, I also had difficulty persuading some people buying another tent (elsewhere) that the pointed rear-end entryway (squashed against the wall, in the totally different room in which they had badly pitched this model for display) was not a design flaw - that the pointed ends, including the front one, was actually a useful entryway/porch to the true tent inner (into which they and me were now crammed) and, no, they did not want/could not have one with a straight-cut end, because it would not keep the weather out as much.

(Meanwhile, I was being personally ambivalent about the integrated groundsheet feature. Ok for the inner, but I felt that there was something wrong about it also extending to meet up with the (otherwise separate) flysheet.)

Other than that, I bought (or maybe sneaked out of the shop, while the power was out following the explosion) a new suit and there was something to do with a giant holographic head (elsewhere), but I'm low on any details. Annoyingly not-always-benevolent, perhaps?

I dreamed I was in a great underground shopping mall, like the mines of Moria in Lord of the Rings. It went down and down and down. Something bad had happened, and they were closing off the lowest area, but I wanted to go down for the sake of nostalgia, because they had a food court there. I knew that there would be good things to come. But also, that these things would be difficult. And I didn't understand that I really had to leave, because I didn't know which way the exit was. So I went down, and then even though I turned back immediately, I couldn't find my way out again, because the entire underground was a maze. And there were other people down there, and it seemed like we were all sick. I don't really remember much else. It felt like the place was going to collapse.

In World War II, the Japanese Empire had a contest. Any Japanese citizen could submit a design for the army's uniforms, and winner's design would become the new uniform. A young Japanese man from the mainland (China) named Qwop (alternately spelled Kwop) submitted his design, but it was rejected. The rules of the contest stated that a rejection could be appealed only if the entrant arrived in person while wearing the uniform they designed. So Qwop set out to reach Japan's capital. His uniform design was khaki pants, with what was described as a mosquito net covering the torso and head, including the face. But it wasn't a mosquito net, it was clearly a fisherman's net. The uniform was ridiculed by both the Japanese forces and the United States forces, who in this dream were invading and occupying the Japanese isles. Qwop persevered and tried his best to reach the capital. He was accompanied by a companion, who also wore the ridiculous uniform. I remember that he had to wade through a swamp, and someone was watching him approach. They pointed to his khaki trousers as he lifted his legs out of the deep water, to prove it was him. As if the fisherman's net on his body and face wasn't enough.

Lately I have been obsessed with Arrow and the other DC shows on CW. Last night, I finally had the chance to be a part of that universe..well, at least in my subconscious. I dreamt that I was a part of Team Arrow and I had really strong powers. We had to fight alongside some members of Team Flash and we were really kicking ass when Felicity kissed me. And apparently, her, me, and Oliver Queen were in a sort of three-way relationship. It doesn't go farther than PG-13 but it was intense. Woke up exhausted even.

By the end of last night (however it got there - I'm not entirely sure), the dream was a sort of video game. Not rare for me, though it seems to have no relation to any game even glanced at yesterday...

I somehow triggered (whilst not intending to) a timed challenge where I had third-person (sometimes) control of a model car that I had to whizz through some slightly lava-esque tunnel system, running over slightly floating lego bricks that got 'ping ping ping' melted away on contact for points. I then find my(/my car's) way out in a department store - modern glass balconies over an atrium gap, but run by the staff of Grace Brothers, and by using the customer elevator (precariously, as I couldn't shift my viewpoint inside during the trip between floors) I came to an upper floor.

Still under (the nearly timed-out) time challenge, I needed something big to get the target points, it seems, so I gave up on brick chasing and manually hooked a table edge over to the atrium banister, and some more over its lower edge to create a run-up, so that I could jump the gap (for loadsa points?), albeit at the risk of hitting the till that Mrs Slocombe was using (if not hitting Mrs Slocombe herself), which she was a bit worried about. It took a while to organise and... I woke up before I ever did it, though. Or the challenge ran out of n failure, which it really should have done, given the shenanigans going on.

Went back to college for a semester or two. Afterwards, was in a hotel room with my sister talking about my job. Think I had gotten a new job, or got an offer or something. It was for like $101k, plus a 2% raise. I started complaining about it, and realized I hated my job, and my life in general. Then I felt bad because she made way less than that. Then I went out to bars with my classmates, who were all way younger. We talked about different things, and I mentioned that I'd worked at ______. Some company. They said I hadn't, and one guy looked it up on his laptop. I explained it had been an internship like 20 years ago. I kept talking about my experiences, but then a woman came up and started talking to one guy. He jumped up and hugged her, they started talking, and everyone ignored me. I wanted to continue my story, but it felt awkward. Then an acquaintance from high school showed up, and I talked with her.

The part about hating my job and life was disturbing. I don't, but it made it hard to sleep.

Another one, I was with 2-3 guys, friends from work or college. We were headed to this state park or something, and the top of a hill. We took a car, or small vehicle of some sort, then had to walk part way. At the top we used a copy machine or something to copy documents. On the way back down we realized we had some of the wrong ones. I also was on drugs, and was trying to not let anyone notice. Then we got near the bottom, and were going to drive home. I had to sit in the back - the car was like a really small flatbed truck, so sitting in the back I was in the open air, facing the road behind us. I strapped on the seat belt, but was holding on tight because I was really nervous.

We're leaving on vacation on Wednesday. Last night had around 4 dreams that involved forgetting luggage. First forgot all my luggage, and was really upset, especially because I forgot to bring any reading material. Then remembered one t-shirt. Then remembered a small suitcase, that had like 7 t-shirts and nothing else. Woke up upset from those dreams.

Auditioned for a movie role at a theatre. Assigned a random character to each candidate. Received "evil cattle rancher". Used two nearby chairs to simulate swinging saloon doors (as well as possible). Attempted to intimidate the casting directors. Fared relatively okay for a while.

Nearly lost balance at one point. Hopped backwards off the stage to avoid falling. (Faced away from the seats. Addressed the casting directors on the stage, apparently.) Said something, half in-character and half not, to explain why. Elicited some laughter. Tried to continue. Failed to regain any pretense of intimidation, however. Ended it shortly afterwards.

Doubted any chance at the part. (Seemed unlikely beforehand too. Attracted lots of people. Lacks acting skills. Had a difficult role too.) Made people laugh (intentionally), though. Accepted that consolation prize.
Changes its form depending on the observer.

Well I had my luggage lost for real when I flew to Vietnam  Imagine me wearing my winter stuff in tropics for around 24 hours. Didn't apologize or something just delivered it to my hotel, I didn't even sign any paper saying I received my luggage :D Things are much easier in Vietnam.
Following the dream discussion, I often have dreams that somebody is chasing me, I drive a car, then it runs out of gas, then I jump on a motorcycle (like in movies) and haha, don’t drive because I don't know how  and after i just wake up. Thinking about getting an A license. Maybe these dreams will go away.

I dreamt that I was going geohashing in a rather unusual place, the town of Oban on Stewart Island, NZ. On either 2017-04-01 or the next day. The days of the week were somewhat inconsistent. The last part I remember was packing my bags to catch the next trans-Tasman boat that I would likely have missed anyway.

I was enrolled at two universities, one physical and one online, and snowed under with paperwork. I had notes all over the place about what I needed to sort out and when and so on. I was going through them and found a letter. It was a reply from Prince Harry, answering my letter, which was included. Both were written in childish handwriting, his with many corrections. HRH agreed with me on various things and was putting things in motion at his end to further some stuff and would arrange et cetera. Then someone told me the silverback gorilla emissaries were on their way up for the banquet and it hit me that we needed a banquet fit for silverback gorilla emissaries, fast. I was able to magic vague stuff up for them, and things got underway well enough. At that point I must have been slightly aware of reality because in the dream I was lying face-down under something and had to lift my head to communicate. I told the nearest one that I was sorry things were a bit hastily-arranged but we'd been very busy and that if he wanted anything else he should ask me. He pointed past me and said: "I want her." Behind me was a huge fish tank / fountain / stage / arboretum sort of setup, and she was in it, along with others of her kind. Her amphibious and very, very dangerous kind. She swung out onto the ladder and did one heck of a pole-dance move to invert on it, then came down head-first and swirl-rolled back to her feet for a dance that was somewhere between "come and get me" and "come and get your arse handed to you." It wasn't much of a dance, and now I can't remember the musical accompaniment, but she was hot. Her hair was somewhere between this style and this length, like werewolf Betty Boop might look on a wild night. She moved a little like {maybe NSFW} this and a little like this, with at least a hint of these creepy things in the mix, only hotter. My alarm clock went off before I could figure out whether she was trying to seduce him or lure him within reach to kick the stuffing out of him just for giggles.
Oh, Willie McBride, it was all done in vain.
