Never heard it called that before, but yes - do it!

Spoiler:
Incidentally, I had to Google the word "terducken" to discover it's tasty meaning, and found the Wikipedia page - the second picture of a terducken contains Bacon! This is instant win. More worrying was the "See Also" section, linking to Whole Stuffed Camel.....

I have had turducken exactly once, and it was awesome. Not quite as awesome as goose, in my humble opinion, but still very awesome. 8)

I figure it can go well, or it can go terribly, much like any other food.

Alas, though I saw a frozen turducken at the store recently ($60, I think?), I have yet to see it on a menu. Too difficult to prepare for individuals, I suppose.

1. It’s spelled ‘turducken’.

2. It ought to be ‘emswangooseducken’.

I think "Em" refers to Emu, and "en" is still from "chicken." And if we're going to escalate the turdeckn, I must add this, this, and finally (warning: potentially NSFW and also potentially gross for anyone disturbed by vast quantities of dead animal flesh) this.

"a bustard stuffed with a turkey, a goose, a pheasant, a chicken, a duck, a guinea fowl, a teal, a woodcock, a partridge, a plover, a lapwing, a quail, a thrush, a lark, an ortolan bunting and a garden warbler"

Okay, that sounds like a wonderful excess to have once. Maybe once every decade. Perhaps once a year with less animals.

I didn't know what this was until I read this thread. Which of course sent me to Google, which of course sent me to Wikipedia which in turn related linked me to,

The Supersizers prepared me for this ... great series about the history of British food. The Edwardianone is my favourite.

If only we could stuff cranberries with more cranberries. I love cranberry sauce so much. I could care less about the turducken.
