Because trampling over gender roles is manly.

I thought it was agreed a while ago that the kilt is the manliest piece of clothing in existence?

That's why the sporran was invented.

Heehee, you look silly.I'd expected that would happen. I couldn't remember if the 8000th post or 8000th reply to the OP would get the top of a page.

At least my post was half-right. I did give the 7999th post.

So, as a man, I intend to date at least one asian in my time at UCI (University of California at Irvine, ~55% asian american student population).

Is there any advice out there? I don't even care about man points.

Don't get into family or parent shit. Never ask why education is important over all else. Other than that, whats to know? They are women and by extension human. Talk to them as if they are.

It is. Sporrans are the furry things that hang outside your kilt... often known as the furry haggis, these creatures collapse when flashed by a true Scotsman, allowing him to pick it up, hollow it out, and hang it in front of his kilt. The size of his sporran is directly proportional to, well, big sporrans aren't impressed by small penii. So they run away.

Penes actually, but there is not such creature right? From which the sporran is made. (obviously I don't mean a magical creatures that dies from...exposure, but rather some type of mamal which might be used to make a sporrin, which is itself called a sporrin.)

Not as far as I know, but it's good fun imagining haggis' running free across the Scottish glen, breeding with Sporrans.

...wst, I'm Scottish. And yes, the haggis really is a wild animal which is extremely difficult to catch, and not just sheep and things, oh no, definitely not.

And yes, many Scots tell that story to every tourist who asks. For some reason, we find it funny.

With one set of legs shorter than the other so it can climb round hills faster.

Trouble is that leads to two waring clans of haggii; the left and right legged clans have been going at it for century's.

it really depends on the topic, like drapes, is an unmanly topic, so sitting at a coffee house with a man friend talking about drapes is an unmanly thing to do. Now Thor, (the Norse god... screw the comic book hero) Thor is the most manly person that has been conceptualized, i could be talking to a Trany about Thor and it would still be the most manly conversation ever... so recap, Drapes = not manly & Thor = manly... discus...

What's unmanly about transsexuals?
It takes balls to live in the 'wrong' body, even more balls to come to terms with that and yet more of them to do something about it.
Also, could be female>male transsexual, in which case ithey're literally manly.

As a coffee shop regular, I can say that there are conditions to it being manly. Whatever you drink should be large and hot. It takes a real man to down 20 ounces of near-boiling liquid in 90 degree heat. Other than that, everything is fair game. Coffee shops are where you go when it's inappropriate or inopportune to go to an establishment serving intoxicants. It's not just manly, it's gentlemanly.

All this talk of manly things is bullshit. Anything can be manly if done a certain way.

Also, preoccupation with whether or not things are manly is certainly not manly. Get a grip fellas.

Fundamental Problem with this thread:
"Manliness" as defined by the examples and discussion in this thread isn't... uh... actually that good.
Gender expectations FTL.
