Can't find this comic

Postby Blagosphere » Mon Jul 23, 2012 5:27 pm UTC

There was an xkcd comic about how it's impossible to tell whether or not people or joking or hold a completely ridiculous belief, but I can't find it. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Perhaps thinking of Poe's Law?

Quick addition from Роберт’s comment: three hundred one. Alternate text: "Fun game: try to post a Youtube comment so stupid that people realize you must be joking. (Hint: this is impossible)"

Edit Update: Finished. Disclaimer: Checks alternate texts infrequently. Consider two hundred two and one hundred fifty-four too. Relates loosely, however.

Lastly, are you certain it was an xkcd?

I've heard of Poe's Law, I guess I just assumed it was through xkcd. That's definitely what I was thinking of.

Definitely related to this.

Thanks a lot for looking, guys.

There's also ConMan's Law: It probably wasn't xkcd.

I usually trot it out in threads like this, but I was a little late. My apologies.

I want to learn this smile, perfect it, and then go around smiling at lesbians and freaking them out.
