Virus problems

Postby BobMacDhonnchaidh » Wed Dec 12, 2007 11:25 pm UTC

Got myself a virus through MSN, where a contact sends you a file called image030, which once opened continues to go through all your contacts and attempts to send itself to them. Is REALLY pissing me off and at the moment AVG doesn't seem to be doing much to help. Any suggestions?

Tried it, but for reasons I can't go into I wouldn't be able to install it.

Try google for a description of the virus and that it spreads through MSN, you might be able to get filenames it uses and registry entries... then manually remove it?

Also is the first part of your sig Irish? Looks very much like it, or is Scottish that similar?
