Getting a old Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra to Sync

Postby Babam » Thu Dec 09, 2010 2:23 pm UTC

So I have an old Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra lying around I thought I'd use it because it has plenty of space for my delicious music. I was able to get Windows 7 to recognize it as a musical device by installing the drivers in XP compatibility mode, but I can't sync it with Windows Media player and manual file management is impossible because my system locks up trying to copy all 10 gigs of my music at once to the device, it also locks up trying to delete all the files off of it (roughly 32 gigs)

Doesn't Creative have some special software to manage devices like these?

Good luck.
