Desktop Backgroup picture ** Resolved

Postby Zapheod » Fri Dec 09, 2011 3:18 pm UTC

As of yesterday night, the background picture took up the entire screen. This morning(no changes to computer) there is a large grey border on the right and bottom of the background picture. Loss of screen ~10%. Now, I can still put icons there and it is usable space but the image will not fill the space even when set to stretch in the display settings. Changing the resolution of the monitor only increases the amount of grey at the edges of the screen.

Any idea why this may have happened and what I could do to correct it?

**Issue resolved itself - no idea how or why it happened but while working the screen flickered and is fixed.

you video drivers most likely crashed and the auto-recovery took a bit to recover :) it happens in unstable computers sometimes. and other times during updates.
