Apparently borderlands 2 co-op is cross-platform. I read that you need to make sure you get the steam version, not the mac appstore version - the appstore version doesn't have cross-platform multiplayer.
The mention of Portal 2 reminded me that I need a game recommendation as well - I'm looking for puzzle-platformers that are more "physicsy" and have entirely self-consistent internal logic.
I'm looking for similar games to the portal series, the swapper, fez, limbo, the talos principle and especially antichamber (which is my favourite game ever). Basically I need something to tide me over until miegakure comes out.
I'm not looking for games that rely on guessing which one of several apparently viable solutions the developer wants you to take, so no point-and-click games or text adventures. Games that require too much in the way of hand-eye coordination rather than logic are also not great - the majority of the difficulty should come from thinking about how to achieve the solution, not from the timing of actually achieving that solution.
