Yeah, this is one game that almost makes me want a PS3. Actually, scratch that; I do want a PS3. I just don't want to buy a PS3.

And since I just got a 360, it would be kind of hard to justify getting another system. But damn it, this game and Valkyria--and don't even mention Disgaea or Shin Megami Tensei--are making the ole Xbox look downright silly.

Also, it turns out I'm not dead--I'm just a right bastard who disappears from the internet for months at a time every so often.

I'm looking forward to playing Valkyria Chronicles when I get a breather from LBP :)

Spent last night just following favourite author's favourites. Played maybe a dozen great levels.

Two levels that everyone must check out:

Robot Town by jump_button
The scary factory overlooking the small village by geosautus

Ol' geosautus is definitely in his game here, and jump_button's visual style (and level design) had me blown away.

Right now I'm working on a level that's got no enemies, no points and no prizes. I'm wondering how well it will work out. It's sort of influenced by Nine Inch Nail's Ghosts I-IV. Hope this goes well.

Can't wait to see :)

I'm working on two ideas. One of them uses aperiodic pinwheel tiling which is quite tricky. I don't think there's enough LBP levels with tiling patterns :)

I just played a level called The Movies which was awesome, and had three separate 5 second or so animations in it (including "Sackoyqaatsi") and plenty of humor spread throughout.

Hey, how did you get to the levels you recommended earlier? I tried searching, but it didn't come up with the right results.

Search for level name and author name in one go.

Or just look up my hearted levels :)

Must funstrating (thats no typo!) game ever! Its awesome to throw the cart lined with explosives at your friend. Not fun when he returns the favor.

"Ok, we just gotta jump over this cart, then pull it the other way"
"k, go ahead and jump"
"alright, just dont move the, WHY ARE YOU MOVING THE CART!"

*booom*

If anyone's got a spare moment could you please check out my WIP level "aperiodic pinwheel tiling" (by r1chardj0n3s).

I'd appreciate feedback on whether the idea works at all. It's been quite a lot of effort to get to the current state :)

Okay, I have just published my first level evar; a project for AP Lit and Comp. It's the first 5 cantos of the Inferno, LBP-ized. I'm proud of it, though it's more of an interactive diorama than a level. I'd like everyone to play it. The handle is Robotinator.

Will give it a try tonight.

Played an awesome abuse of the game last night - somehow the creator had made the entire level look like the plasma effect you see in music visualizers. I can't remember the name though, but IIRC it's by the same creator as anti-color. It's in my hearted page (r1chardj0n3s).
