Will it... will it actually work on Bnet? Because Single Player just isn't the same.

Well right now I'm playing with my bro over the LAN, as for Bnet even though it says you might get banned for using it it shouldn't be -too- much of a problem (if you get banned don't blame me). I mean I've used maphacks on Bnet for ages and never got banned.

Edit: Although it's possible that running an entirely different exe is a lot more detectable or perhaps won't even work on Bnet...

Can we officially kick him out of nerdom, or the human species, or reality in general? I mean, there has to be some form of punishment for this question.

The ponies are in the DII expansion anyway. They come with armor.
I also really need to retake that Spam Identification class. Killed the sig, but the conversation that it inspired is something that may be worth saving. If just for MJ's reaction.

Does anyone have a Lord of Destruction CD Key I can use? I found my discs, but not my CD Key for LoD. I won't be on Battle.Net, so you don't need to worry about cheaterificationing.

Yeah sure, I have a couple I haven't used and won't be using for years. I'll PM you one, feel free to go on Bnet with it.

I've always wondered about something.

They seal Baal in Tal Rasha. Fine!
But then there is that tomb bullshit. Seriously? Any random peon can waltz in and take the shard and fuck up everything?

What I would have done is to have Tal Rasha curl up in a little ball while he was still sane (his name sounds asian, so he must know yoga, right?), then build a sealed metal cage around him.

Then slap a Zod on the cage.

There, no XPpack.

Well first you need to find the arcane sanctuary, find the true tomb of tal rasha and then fight through all those monsters.

And also reconstruct the staff of kings

I dunno, the Arcane sanctuary seemed like kind of a waste. There were only 8 or so tombs in total so worst case scenario is you'd have to wander through 7 wrong tombs before finding the right one. And the staff of kings could probably be replaced with a battering ram. That wall was hollow.

Because he's fucking Diablo. He's, like, Jesus or something.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

I don't recall any other entrances to the valley.

Do you have any idea how stupidly rare that rune is? Even with the new patch? Presumably Tal Rasha plays legit and doesn't dupe.

You could always make the cage out of Phase blades if you didn't have the Zods...

Even then I think it just makes stuff immune to wear-and-tear rather than literally making stuff indestructable.

And the only place you can go from the Rogue Encampment was the monastery, yet somehow we managed to take a caravan to some desert town. Methinks the game's geography isn't to be taken literally.

Yeah, I was in the same boat as broken_escalator, I bought it at least 4 times. Thank god for the new Battle.net, now have all my games easily accessible no matter where the CDs may end up.
