I think that's a great comparison. As fun as Galaxy was, I could feel that there was so much potential behind it. Potential Galaxy 2 could easily bring out.

oooooor it could be a stack of bland levels with no real difference involved.

Here's hoping it's the former.

Apparently their original plan for Galaxy 2 was to use the exact same levels as Galaxy with some changes. Then they started to add new things. If you watch the trailer carefully you'll see a few planets from Galaxy 1. So I'm not hopeful...

According to whoever it was that said it, 90% of the levels are new, and all of the old ones are new configurations/objectives.

I'd rather they just got rid of that 10%, though.

I don't really mind it so much. Hell, SSBB had loads of stages from SSBM. They were pretty good stages and with the new characters you didn't feel like you were playing SSBM all over again. I trust Nintendo to do this well.

I'm crossing my fingers for more purple coin challenge stages, although I'm hoping luigi won't be as much of a nightmare as he was last time.

Hope the music will be fun to listen to again.

I'd personally hope for more to do with the fire flower. What can I say, I've missed it, all these years
Dear xkcd,

On behalf of my religion, I'm sorry so many of us do dumb shit. Please forgive us.

Love, Aikanaro.

Pet peeve: I hate aiming at something in an overhead 3D world. You're always running back and forth trying to get the angle right. It never works the first time. You have to move the camera so that it directly faces the object. Then they try to fix it with autoaims, so you're shooting at block X and facing 45-degrees away from it.

I dunno, it was pretty cool doing the the same worlds repeatedly but doing completly different levels each time. Familiarity is a consistently successful form of entertainment in games, TV shows, comics, pretty much everything.

But yeah, the more new stuff the better, and if you replace a little chuckle of recognition with a big level that's ten times the fun, then so be it!

Wrong forum to ask that question. The correct place is anywhere but here.
