I've been playing Alpha Centauri and that game officially wins at quotes. What Portal is for humor, SMAC is for profound.

Well I love anything form the Mario and Luigi RPG series, particularly anything Fawful says, for example:
"I HAVE CHORTLES!"
or
"Fawful is gorging on his plan of win, and he still has hunger!!!" (Yes he talks in third person)
but aside from that entire series I would have to go with this quote from World of Warcraft:

"Keep this up and I may have to promote you from imbecile to mental deficient, first class."
"Are you insinuating that a bunch of googly eyes hot-glued to a Cheeto constitutes a sapient being?"
Can't let you brew that Starbucks!

More quotes from the prince of madness

"Jyggalag's forces are gathering in the Fringe...And I HATE IT when people gather forces in my Fringes! "
"I could turn you into a goat. Or a puddle! Or a bad idea..."

I was always amused by the though of turning someone into a bad idea.

See? You could almost form a sentence from those words!

There's a bit of implied speech when the postman in hyrule castle town market in OoT says "What do you mean I look ridiculous?" or something similar.

Damn I'm going to go play some Zelda now...

You forgot the occasional "Skeg!" in OoT.
In Wind Waker he goes "Hoop!"

Also from OoT:
"These toys are too much for you! I command you return them to me!"
"Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh. You want a piece of me! Very funny! I like your attitude!"
"You have guts kid."
"What a worthless creation this ghost was! I will banish it to the gap between dimensions!" <--I never got why he had to tell you this, but oh well.

Also in Daggerfall, asking for directions. It often went like this (I am paraphrasing):

- Hi, where is the Dirty Giant?
- Begging your pardon, but it's such a silly question I don't think I have to answer.
- Fascinating. Would you be kind enough to tell me where to find the Dirty Giant?
- Well, I think it is North of here.
- Oh great. Could you tell me the directions to the Dirty Giant?
- Sure, it's err... Let me mark it on your map.

I've played that game quite a bit and I've somehow missed that one. Maybe I'll have to reinstall it and check it out.
To all law enforcement entities, this is not an admission of guilt...

Star Fox
"DO A BARREL ROLL!!" - Peppy
"Good Luck" first time I heard something resembling human voice on the SNES Star Fox.

- In any JRPG, anytime a character emotes at someone else, it is in the form of "[character name]...." Star Ocean uses this to idoitic extremes. Whenever something happens to Raimi, someone will inevitably say "Raimi..." (always with an ellipsis, mind you). It's a favorite quote because it is a lovably Japanese anime meme that would never happen in real life dialogue.

- In Borderlands, everything anybody says. In the first segment of the game, when Claptrap slams his head against the slowly rising door and let's out a "d'oh!", that's the first time I've chuckled out loud in a game in a looong time. Scooter, in all his Southern redneck glory ("You say hi from Scooter for me. And by hi, I mean you just go kill the crap outta him"" "Hey, this is Scooter saying, four wheels is better than... than uh, zero... wheels... Hey, have fun!"). Tannis, and her insane ramblings ("Thank you for returning my journal recordings. I know that you listened to them, so now I ask that you apply blunt force trauma to your head until you forget what you heard. Those journals are private and personal.") There are so much, and they are all awesome.

From Spencer "Deuce" Wyatt, of the otherwise laughable Hunter: the Reckoning game for the XBOX, after seeing an entire prison engulfed in strange energy spewed up from the very bowels of hell:

"Oh yeah. Mama said there'd be days like this."

+++

From Blasto: "Somebody grab a mop, there's gonna be guts on the ceiling."

+++

From the description of the piece of salvage "Conspiratorial Evidence" in City of Heroes: "Who knew that the simple aglet's true purpose was so sinister?"

I remember that game. It was horrible and I hated it.

However, that does remind me of a quote from F.E.A.R
Upon the team walking into a large lobby with blood all over the room, on the ceiling, with three bloody skeletons laying in the middle.
"There was a lot of anger in this room."
I was angry with my friend. I told my wrath. My wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe. I told it not. My wrath did grow.

Made me laugh because of its sheer insane arrogance:

"Only I can beat me. And I never do."
"Pick a number between 1 and 10."
"0.9999...?"

MassEffect 2 had a good one last night for me.

Prison Warden: "I'll need you to turn over your weapons before you enter the facility"
Response options: "No" or "Fat Chance"
Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, EVER cut a deal with a dragon.
