I was lazy and just put my main through gnirf the sneakiest gnome. I ascended to Disco bandit, but I'm bored of him because I already have a DB account i started before ascending. And he's on the level 11 quest and my main's on the deep fat friars. (I was earning 35+ stats per fight in the haunted wine cellar though)

I used to play KoL religiously, but I stopped and, well, my account was deleted. Only after, of course, I had ascended. I was a Pastamancer back in the day.
This thread gives me the urge to start it up again!! Disco Bandit this time, maybe?

I think this ascension, instead of actually ascending, I'm gonna go for the level 30 trophy, while doing the bounty huntin' and afterwards get the three amigos.

Yeah, I'm not that into fast ascensions.

I'm delaying my ascension because I'm going for the The Butler Did It trophy, but I've lost count of how many times I've read the thing. I know it's enough to not want to give up getting it this ascension, but I have no idea how long I have to go. I am farming and bounty-hunting right now.

Someone had the great idea to get more than 1,000,000 drunkenness. That's ridiculous.

My alt (Big Smash) has been farming 31337 scrolls for ten-leaf clovers, and I've just realized how awesome the Bounty Hunter Hunter's odor extractors are. Now I can just go after the adding machines and buy the component scrolls.

Speaking of which, is there a better way to farm meat at the moment? I'm getting a good amount of meat out of the clovers in the mall, but I was wondering if there was anything better.

How many meat per turn do you get from selling clovers?

In my full farming gear with free buffs I get about 1000 meat a turn from the castle in the sky. About 800 from direct meat and extra from whatever else happens to drop.

Man, I hate introductions. They're always awkward.

Howdy. I'm new around here. I play KoL. Currently have 14 ascensions under my belt, and various Mr. Store stuff. Pretty poor at the moment, though. But that hasn't been much of a problem due to me not liking the past couple Mr. Store stuff. I play hardcore only (all my Mr. Store stuff in familiars/skills). After NS13 hit, I started taking the game more casually. Before NS13, I was really into speed, with my fastest run being 7 days. I know, it's not great, but I don't consider it bad, either. Now I just screw around and enjoy the content. Might get back into speed sometime, but now I'm just kicking back and relaxing. Currently working on getting the BHH outfit and Duct Tape.

No one in ever around in /clan in my current clan, so here I am. May I join the clan? I applied.

I am truly and honestly sorry about that. I wrote one, as crappy as it may be.

Mind if I name mine that, Rodan? It's way better than my current name, "Don Tuxedo." I'm not the best at naming familiars. Best name I came up by far would be "Leader of the Caffeine Gang" for my Ancient Yuletide Troll.

I'm Southwest (#532423) ingame. I've had this account for over two years, and I've been playing for longer (my original account, which was pre-ascension, was nuked from orbit due to laziness on my part). I'm currently finishing up a Bad Moon Disco Bandit run, after which I intend to start prepping for some diving in Fernswarthy's Basement.

I love the game, though I'm not the most optimal player. Hardcore all the way, though.

I'm really not surprised at all to find xkcd readers who play the game, either. That seems like a no-brainer association.

I gained enough moxie substat points over the last two Moxie Days to take a level 1 character all the way to level 15.

At least I got up to level 21 today.

Going for the 30 Trophy, as well as a few others...

Karma usage is dependent on your rank.

See your clan master for details on increasing rank.

I got a staff of the midnight snack, but I can't use it yet *grumble grumble*

So, I got a spooky stick from the stash (but put 3 shrunken heads in, so I think we are OK?) to make another spooky staff. And I level'd up!.

(edit: but this takes up way too much time :()

Memo wrote:Note in the profile and everything and I got attacked anway. :(

LucySpace initiated a PvP attack against you. Here's a play-by-play report on how it went down:
Your opponent said the following: In pvp, no one can hear you scream.

That's really hilarious. In KoL, you have pretty much nothing at all to worry about from pvp attacks, and for this guy to put a note in his profile and expect people to not attack him is funny. I probably didn't even look at his profile when I attacked him.

Also, hi!

I guess, if you don't want PvP attacks, don't break the hippie stone thing?

Apparently they did it by accident and put a note in their profile to say "Gah! Don't pvp me! It was a mistake!" But pvp really isn't as scary as it seems.

I played this game for a while, but I logged off for just a bit too long, and when I tried to go back, my account was baleted.

Pity, really. I was going pretty well, and I am not going to make another account because the first few days are quite boring.

After a great deal of searching, I've found and applied to the klan under the same name I have registered here on the fora.

With that out of the way, I'm wondering how we're all going to wind up being assimilated by the Crimborg. Personally, I think it has something to do with the item drops at the Sinister Dodecahedron.
