Ok, I don't have a funny name* but I saw the first episode over the weekend and I am hooked. Is anyone else watching this?

I've only seen the first two episodes. The sets and costumes are really impressive, and there's a lot of intriguing details.

Naked Tom Hardy is great, and I want to see where things are going, but It's also kind of a long list of things I'm very tired of

Other cultures and their suffering as a back drop for a white (and/or) male protagonist
padding out the mysterious back story
everyone talking in gravely whispers
female lead who's main roll seems to be having bugged out scared/angry eyes
lurid sexposition

Just watched the trailer and its very captivating....will watch this weekend
