So bad it's good: Main Hoon Na
So bad it's bad: Matchstick Men
So bad it's good: Plan 9 from Outer Space
So bad they're bad: The sequels of The Land Before Time

Me and my friends tried to watch Eragon with the idea of mocking it, but it was too bad even for riffing. I haven't seen a movie that bad since The Burbs.

You have no taste whatsoever. Do you know how you got the name "Sir Elderberry"? It's what your father smelt of. I fart in your general direction!

So bad I respect it for achieving the badness it strove for: Team America: World Police

Once again, you have no taste.

Seriously guys, those films were awesome. You fail at humor.

So bad it's great: The Simpson's Movie.

Hey, Team America was bad, in exactly the ways they wanted it to be bad! It was groan-worthy but intentionally so, which made it succeed as a fine comedy and parody of blockbuster action movies.

It's possible the ending was good enough to turn it around, but that seems very unlikely. If it was, I wouldn't know. I walked out of the theater and never looked back. Only movie I've ever been unable to sit through at the theater until the end.

It's a movie about con artists. Like all such films, it contained a twist ending which redefined everything that came before. So, unless you walked out only five minutes from the end, yeah, you missed the most important part.

i got pretty close to the end before leaving. i don't remember what was going on when i left because it's been years. but it must have been a pretty amazing twist to make up for all the badness that came before.

So bad it's bad: the sequel to nearly every classic Disney movie: Lion King 2, Beauty and the Beast 2, etc.

So bad it's good: Billy Madison.

EDIT: If Adam Sandler would have realized all his good movies were of the "so bad it's good" variety, maybe, just maybe, we would have been spared from some of his newer shit.

Sufficiently poor as to qualify as enjoyable: Rocky Horror, The Mask.

So bad I want to hurt the director in a very personal way: Caddyshack 2, Saw.

As for Matchstick Men, I have seen most of it twice. If I've seen the end I can't remember it. The movie is so boring I wasn't sure I'd seen it before until I was 1/3-1/2 through it the second time. Also, someone with that level of OCD smokes? I don't fucking think so. Unpossible.

C'mon, figuring that your Toyota Supra, limited at 155, is only capable of 120, and you were redlining it? Oh, wait, shove a scuba tank in the boot and you'll do.. I don't know how many more mph (I switched off due to pain) with no more rpm needed.
Wow.

I liked those films back when all I knew about cars was what Gran Turismo told me. But no, with nous, comes pain. And, frankly, the window of time to point out that fallacy is so short that I can't make a good quip that'll fit in that'll tell the whole story.
Anything I said pre-2014 that you want to quote me on, just run it past me to check I still agree with myself.
