Your last and next concert?

Last concerts: Saw Duran Duran three times in six days in December 2011.

Next concert: At the moment it's Bruce Springsteen in June I think?

Last concert: Metallica.

Next: Opeth. Feb 5th.
Summer is miles and miles away, and no one would ask me to stay.
And I, should contemplate this change... to ease the pain.
And I, should step out of the rain... turn away.

Last concert was Roger Waters reinvisioning The Wall. When I wasn't mindblowing over newly refined graphics, I was flashbacking to my first concert in 1980 at Madison Square Garden... Next? I don't know, but I think Floyd may have ruined live music for me. Pink Floyd with Gilmour, Wright and Mason live in 1994 even without Waters? Absolutely, they created the trippiest, most beautiful musical sounds I've ever heard. Other concerts may have had amazing performances, but if the ears hurt either during or after a concert it is hardly comparable. TMBG have always been the most fun though, so I hope they are next.

Phish is touring this summer - you should check some of that out.

The last show I went to (other than one of my own) was a big ol festival here in the middle of February. there were a ton of shows I wanted to see in between but my schedule just wouldn't permit it. Summer's coming soon though and I'm kicking it off with a bluegrass festival this weekend.

Last: Tim Minchin. He's been writing some serious, non-comedy songs. He put on an experimental test show to see how they go down. It was awesome :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GOg71d9k7w

Next: Not a concert as such, but going to the 10th Anniversary showing of Queen's We Will Rock You musical. Next proper concert is Lynyrd Skynyrd :-)

Does playing at a Festival count as going to a concert?

If yeah then I'm playing some large festival in my City this summer with a bunch of cool indie and other such bands.

Last concert: Dave Matthews Band

Next concert: Roger Waters' The Wall

I realized that based on the published concert tours online one could get a rough location on anyone who posts in this thread. :D

Aesthetic Perfection

Next show:

I'd like to go see Weezer this weekend, but haven't heard back from my station manager concerning free tickets, so I'll probably skip that show (tickets are $40 I think? and it's an hour drive). Other possibilities include MC Chris and Powerglove next month, and Metric in September.

I have an opportunity to see them tomorrow at the Bunbury Festival, but I'm not a huge Weezer fan, so I don't know if I will. I am excited about The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, and the girlfriend is psyched about Foxy Shazam and Imagine Dragons, all of whom are also playing at Bunbury. We'll also definitely be watching Belle Histoire, but have yet to decide what other acts we'll see.

Last: Download festival. Highlight for me was seeing Lamb of God and being in a wall of death. I collapsed for about half an hour afterwards with a couple of bottles of water trying to to recover. Well worth it.

Next: Every Time I Die in November. Cannot wait.

You listen to awesome things. How is Childish Gambino live?

My last concert was Paul and Storm (and Chris Collingswood opening) last night. Next one will be most likely whatever I go to at Dragon*Con. I know Marian Call will be there, and I'm definitely intending on going to Ego Likeness' stuff and Freezepop again, and checking out Emerald Rose, and maybe some other stuff. It will be good times. :)

I have to, I DJ here (not necessarily that we play everything I listen to).

Childish Gambino was awesome live. His backing band was solid. Even if it would have been nice to hear them turned up a little in the mix, that's sorta to be expected at a rap show (loud bass and vocals, everything else pushed into the background).

Danny Brown (opening the show I saw in June) was atrocious however.

Unfortunately, no. I totally flaked on getting tickets and they sold out pretty quickly. :(

I worked as an usher for a Slightly Stoopid/311 concert last Saturday. It was alright. I was more entertained by the woman interpreting the songs into American Sign Language for a deaf couple, though.

Heh. Turns out the David Bromberg (an artist I'd been meaning to get around to seeing) show was the same night as Coheed & Cambria (and Bromberg posted dates long before Coheed, as a result, I requested tickets from the station manager for the Bromberg show before I knew Coheed was playing the same night, and when Coheed announced dates, I sorta just assumed they were different nights).

So... last shows:

David Bromberg
Matt & Kim

Next show (that I'm aware of and already have tickets for):

Aesthetic Perfect and The Birthday Massacre

Floor Jansen is seriously the best singer in the history of the world. That was the best night of my life. I wish everyone could hear here sing Ever Dream. It's astounding.

Last show (unexpected because it was announced only a day or two beforehand):

Shiny Toy Guns (was really good, hadn't seen them before)

Next show:

Sleigh Bells (guest listed)

Still seeing:

Aesthetic Perfection & The Birthday Massacre

Might also see get to see:

Killswitch Engage (hoping to get guest listed)

Last:
We Were Promised Jetpacks - show was alright but they didn't play some of my favored songs

Next: Band of Horses - not entirely sure what to expect. I really like their previous work but the recent album doesn't compare in my book.

Last shows:

Sleigh Bells (awesome)

Aesthetic Perfection & William Control & The Birthday Massacre (awesome, though I wish Aesthetic Perfection had played after William Control for a longer set, and had a full band to back him, and that Chibi hadn't injured her knee, William Control was good, but not music I would normally listen to for myself, though I'd probably put it into a request slot for one of my DJ sets to expose people to new music)

Next shows:

Killswitch Engage (guestlisted, December)

Matt and Kim & Passion Pit (hoping to get guestlisted, February)?

Last concert:

Tame Impala last night (13/12/2012) at the Enmore Theatre

Awesome show, passively smoke quite a bit of cannibis though... The support act (The Growl) weren't as crap as I expect support acts to be, which was a pleasant surprise.

Next concert:

Gotye, tonight at the Entertainment Centre :D
