Respects to the Captain, he has finally passed...

It's only cool if no one's heard of it.

Captain Beefheart has finally coiled his way beyond us mere mortals. He will be sorely missed.

Every time a friend of mine wants to play Zappa, he includes this one. I kinda like it.
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

Yeeeaahhh... that's the Captain. Opaque melodies that would bug most people.

I managed to listen to Trout Mask Replica all the way through.

Part of my brain says "y'know, if i listened to this twice more I'd love it, i'm sure"
The other part says "y'know, if i listed to this twice more I'd kill myself, i'm sure"
I don't know who to trust anymore.
uhhhh fuck.

He will definitely be missed. May his legacy be remembered and respected for as long as we last.

Dammit, I am sad.
