Interpret song lyrics!

I've been trying really hard to figure out what this song is written about (of course, I know songs are open to interpretation). Anyone wanna take a shot? They are Christian artists- I assume "He does too" refers to God but not much else seems to be too relevant to religion.

Lyric interpretation is something I try to do all the time, so I figured maybe we can have a thread for it where anyone can post a song they are pondering if there is interest. If there already is one sorry for failing at search.

I'm With You: When our love goes wrong, I'll fight for us! Could be specifically referring to sisterly love since it's a duet with two ladies.

The only thing I'm not really sure about is the line in the bridge that says "In the way you've always loved me." I would have said "In A way"... Other than that, I think it's pretty straight forward...
