HA! Written by Dmitry Glukhovsky. There was even couple games based on that book and as far as I know one movie is coming up.
Moscow after apocalypse and only people in metro survived. Every metro station is like a different city. Outside things mutated.
Quite scary and good read especially when you travel by metro ;-)
