Monster Hunter International

Anyone read it and its sequels? Definitely one of my favorite series now. Larry Correia is a hilarious writer. Uh, in a good way.

For those who haven't read: think monster movies fleshed out, stereotypes turned on their head, and plenty of detailed and accurate weapons description gun porn set in the present day to the tune of a voice that establishes itself immediately. Lots of action. It's a blast.

I just finished Monster Hunter Alpha (third and newest book) last night. It was rather darker in tone than the first two, though of course it still has its moments. (Undead smoothies anyone?)

I read, and like, the series. I was kinda disappointed in the end fight in Monster Hunter: Alpha, but overall it was a great book, too.

I must say, hardly five minutes go by while reading these books where I don't laugh out loud. Still.

Outbreak, a tale of love and zombies.

In stores now.
