XKCD Book Club: The Revenge

Anybody interested in reviving the book club? It might be fun to have some extra focused discussion and motivation to read around here. I was thinking we could draw books at random from the Recommend a Book thread and have an open discussion of it for, say, one month per 500 pages. We could organize it through Goodreads as well, if any other interested parties use that.

I realize that there's already some book club discussion, but it's nearly five years dead and spread across a number of topics, so I thought it best to just open a new thread.
