Anyone know a Latin and Greek roots search?

Postby Delass » Mon Aug 18, 2008 4:02 am UTC

Im looking for a way to search an english name, and see if it has roots in greek or latin or any other language. Unfortunately, google didn't help. Dictionary.com works sometimes, but usually not. Anyone know of anything?

You can try searching for it at Behind the Name. I often use that site when looking for character names.

Hope that helps :).
