Saw one of these a couple of years ago and managed to compile 38 of the 50 answers (eventually). Quizzle I believe, but I cannot find it now.

But I am stuck at 4.
I have tried the following:
Spoiler:
gettysburg_address, abraham_lincoln, declaration_of_independence, ... -.- .. -- w/wo spaces/underlines, skim & skimp
all to no avail.
Is it just a mis-spell, or am I in the wrong area?

EDIT: Didn't see that you reference the hint in your post.

Spoiler:
It sounds like you didn't follow the hint. Don't SKIM. Try reading the speech to find the answer .

Spoiler:

Level 2
Spoiler:
Few english words begin with Z, ZEBRA for instance

Level 3
Spoiler:
The tab gives the clue, ignore the maze and you have an animal - RHINO

Level 4
Spoiler:
It is the Gettyburg Address by Abraham Lincoln, with an added bit, including the answer "the answer is not if we should, but HOW."

Level 5
Spoiler:
If you find a difference, yell me. I find NOTHING

Level 6 Clueless atm

I'm completely stuck on level 22.

Spoiler:
It seems to be a perfectly ordinary monopoly board. Am I missing something subtle in the image?

Does the structure look familiar to you?
NO. Guess a hint would be nice.

That was a hint, though if you're from the UK or otherwise not in the US I can see why it might not immediately spring to mind. Here's another:

Spoiler:
What if there was a +44 before it?

Also, it's not in the spirit of the puzzle to post solutions.

Thanks Xias!

23 was easy, but now I'm stumped again on 24.

Spoiler:
I think it's just a matter of phrasing. "4", "four", and "jail" and are all close. About a million variations on "jailcell", "prison", "extrabar", "4thjailbar" etc. are all wrong.

Yeah, you're on the right track. I'll tell you that it's only one word. Also
Spoiler:
It's EXACTLY the thing that's different.

I got stuck on 25 or 26 though (the "last one I promise" one) and I kind of gave up so you're on your own after that.

Oh jesus christ.

Spoiler:
I tried every possible variation on that word... but I always used the plural form. "Just try harder" seems to be the pattern here, both times.

Now on to 25....

My turn to help!

Spoiler:
It might not be obvious, but the board is, in fact, different. See if you can figure out what's changed (I used GIMP, lol) and then be VERY SPECIFIC about it.

Spoiler:
Through other sites on the web I found that the difference is in the color of the board, but for some reason I'm not picking up a difference. I don't know if it's user error or what.

Spoiler:
It's a stupidly tiny difference. I had to subtract one image from the other and amplify the contrast on the result.

Ok, lets have some real fun.

Level 19.

Using this "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which four powers"
and this "292 60 3/6 316 63 401 273 8/9"

Get me to "vor" instead of "vow"

.....................
Level 27.

Most people stumbled into level 28 from level 19.
But i unable to find anyone who got from level 27 to level 28.

I won't give a spoiler for 27 except that it ends ...o.htm

DID ANYONE figure out level 27?

Level 20: I'm stuck, I've gotten this far:

Spoiler:
Solved crossword. Got back to the "zebra" hangman game, but zebra isn't the answer. Saw the genus name. Tried 4.htm as that is the puzzle I would go to and I get "no but close"

Having just figured out level six, let me assure you that it is complete bullshit. hint (different from all the other not-helpful hints in this thread):
Spoiler:
The answer is entirely reliant on google. Try to find it searching with absolutely all the information you have.

From level one:
You may need to access additional files on this site to solve a level. Feel free to explore the site. These situations should be made apparent by the level itself.
Google is your friend. Use it often.
No spoilers. Seriously.

If you think my hints were unhelpful, and are frustrated with having to rely on google to find the answer, you will not get very far in this game, and I suggest you find something else to do with your time.

To be honest, even if you like relying on Google to find the answer, and found Xias' hints helpful, you should still probably find something else to do with your time. ;)

A hint on 20 would be appreciated... so far the only one I used hints on was the animal sound one... couldn't make the darn things out except for one. On 20, I am so close... is it another z word? I've used an onlline dictionary with no success.

You're actually on level 21 (the so if it helps, you're a level farther along than you thought you were. ;)

You are on the right track. Looking back, I don't remember how I found the answer; even though it says that the word is in the dictionary, it's not in any that I own, nor is it a Scrabble legal word. Here's my hint though:

Spoiler:
It is a word in Portuguese.

Spoiler:
Wow, I would have never gotten that in a million years. Thanks for the pointer. I just grabbed an online most common 50,000 words in Portuguese with no luck. I am hoping that the five letters listed are still NOT allowed to be in the word.

When I get home tonight, I will grab a more complete dictionary... the only thing I can find online requires a software installation and I don't want to do that at work.

Thanks again... hopefully I will get it figured out.

Edit: Got it. Thanks for your help.

Levels 22-24 were incredibly easy. I am on 25 and see the difference between the two boards but am stumped on how to translate that into the URL. I'll give it a couple days before I ask for a hint. Frustrated though as I've tried everything I can think of. A night's sleep might help...

I'm stuck here too. I can't see the difference, but running the two jpgs through ImageMagick indicates that
Spoiler:
the background colour of the board has changed, and to a lesser extent, everything that is blue/green

I too am stumped on how to translate that into a URL.

On level 25: The name of the image should give you an idea of how you figure out the url. I got stuck on it too, but for the opposite reason - I figured out the image name clue but didn't notice the difference between the boards.

At level 26 you're on your own, I gave up :P

Also, as one final hint on 25, make sure to use lower case in the URL even though it isn't correct form. I actually got stuck on this for a while until I realized this...

And the puzzle maker lied to us :( one more Monopoly puzzle. For all I know the next 50 puzzles will be Monopoly.

I'm now on 31. I translated the numbers, cross referencing the referenced text (trying to be obscure to avoid giving clues) but nothing. I'll give this one a couple more days.

I have to say that the last few puzzles have been enjoyable.

I feel like an idiot since apparently everyone else figured this one out with no problems, but i'm stuck on level 8.

Spoiler:
I've identified the book cover which the giant array of binary is colored as, but everything I guess based on that book is incorrect. (Iraq, war, ssg, both of the author's names, etc) I feel like the hint "level=Ch" is important, but the only thing that I can come of with from that is that Ch is a c/C++ compiler. The 0s and 1s seems like a dead end too, since converting it to ascii leads nowhere

Ok i seriously am so frustrated i might just give up this puzzle. I'm on this BS page that asks "What level are you trying to get to?" after level 12.

And nowhere where i put the next level number, or the word "next" or anything is right. I'm convinced that there is simply no way to proceed off this page.

I even thought that maybe this page is secretly level 13 so i really have to say 14 is the level i'm trying to get to, but that's not right either, appearently.

I see a bunch of people who said they got stuck on the easy part i already figured out about the "deletethed" image, but nobody anywhere seems to have trouble with this next page, so maybe i'm just dumb

Spoiler:
I know what it's about, just can't figure out what to write or anything to "tune in" to. I assumed I have to stay in the "nothing" directory, is that right?

Thanks.
