I'd make them myself, but I'd just eat them all and get a really bad headache and be really hyper for a few hours. Hmm, I wonder how brown sugar would taste in coffee in place of regular sugar... I'll have to try that in the morning.

For lunch nearly every day I have a sandwich of Oscar Myer bologna, Kraft American cheese, and Dukes mayo, although that probably isn't too strange.

Of late I have discovered a few interesting combinations.

I made a beef roast in a crock pot with a friend of mine, we used skunk beer and Scottish bell peppers (basically a cousin of habanero).

We also discovered a joy for Roquefort on baguette with honey mustard.

Also I happen to rather partial to sauteed Onions with a bit extra butter added to Gnocchi that you then add a container of cottage cheese to and stir until it melts.

Some people may find these odd, but I don't. Then again I would happily try pretty much anything (that would be considered food) at least once.

Haven't tried this one personally, although I just witnessed it.

I am conflicted between the urge to try it and the potential revulsion I feel will come from it. Just to clarify, I'm not averse to trying new things. Once a philosopher, twice a pervert, that's me. Especially food combinations. I've had my fair share of what would be considered bizarre in most circles, although for the most part the foods are generally accepted by some group or culture. This I have never seen or would even consider.

Anyhow, there's a Long John Silver's about a block from my office. For those not in the know, they are a fast food joint specializing in fried fish. About twice a year I get the urge for something heavily fried and greasy. Today was one of those days. Long John Silver makes bottles of malt vinegar available for sprinkling on your fish, fries, what-have-you. I don't usually partake in the practice, but I've been known to. That's not the odd combination.

The elderly couple that sat near me got a typical plate of fish, fries, and coleslaw. Their beverage selection was just plain tap water. The gentleman at the table doused his fish liberally with malt vinegar. Again, not odd. He then proceeded to pour the vinegar into his water. The previously pristine cup of ice water was now a translucent brown.

Some people choose to drink vinegared water as an aid to digestion. Whether or not this particularly aids their digestion is a different matter.

(Can help if you don't produce enough stomach acid. Can hurt like hell if you already overproduce.)

-Banana juice and beer
-Tuna fish mixed with ketsup instead of mayonaise
-Chicken fingers dipped in hot fudge
-Vailla ice cream and mashed potatos

My friends and I used to try and mix random things every time we went to a buffet, those are some of the recipes I remember.

On a side note, if a buffet or fast food place doesnt have orange soda (the best soda) try mixing the orange minute maid and sprite.

It's nothing the Italians wouldn't of done if they had the contents of my fridge.

My fiancee saw my gnocchi monstrosity and raised me mac and cheese with black beans, soy-rizo (soy chorizo), enchilada sauce and broccoli. It was really surprisingly tasty.

Weirdest but most awesome combo? Guac and Sweet & Sour BBQ chips. Or chili fries.

Also, nutella and tortilla chips.

Not exactly weird, but Tobasco sauce will literally go with anything.

Oh boy, you Murkans have such murkan combos. Peanut butter this and jelly that. . .not a marmite in sight. You are so missing out.

I have been keeping a list of Rmarkably Unexpected but Delicious Food Combinations for nearly a decade.

Anyhow, in reverence to cross-pond diplomatic relations, I'll try yours if you try mine.

Here are some of my top ones (their first public viewing). It's been a long time coming:

Chianti and espresso mix.
Sweet potato, root ginger and coriander.
Hummus mixed into Heinz tomato soup.
Adnams Broadside and Stinking Bishop (best version yet of the traditional beer and cheese combo).
Melon with chilli sauce.
Crystalized ginger with whole almonds.
Avocado baked in smoked salmon.
Goat's cheddar and marmite sandwich.
Tomorino, walnuts and sweet chilli sauce.
Jasmine green, or puerh tea with grated chilli.

I call this one: A students dream

It's very simple. You will need:

1 pack of instant noodles (Chicken flavor)
Grated cheddar cheese (As much as you want, depends on your taste)

Cook up the noodles, and then reduce them down until there is a very very small amount of water left in the pan.
Turn off the heat, and add cheese.
Let the cheese melt, then eat.

Not so weird, but it tastes GREAT.

Ritz crackers and Nutella. Actually started as a joke because I asked for both items as separate additions to my birthday list last year, and everyone assumed I ate them together. They're actually pretty good together, you get the salty/sweetness like a chocolate-covered pretzel, but with the added bonus of the butter from the Ritz cracker. Plus they don't break your teeth.

A few of my favorite weird things to eat together are
-cheetos dipped in chocolate pudding (my best friend and I swear by these)
-apricot jam and mayo mixed together in just about ANY sandwich
-chocolate bars dipped in chili, although I don't think that's entirely original

Also not terribly unusual, but a few of my favorite slightly-off-the-beaten-path foods:
1. vanilla ice cream with maple syrup
2. scrambled eggs with maple syrup (drizzled, not drowning)
3. red jello (any flavor) or chocolate pudding with a little milk poured on top (fully-set cook & serve pudding is best; soft-set instant doesn't work)
4. cooked jumbo shells, salted, otherwise plain. I look forward to this every time I make stuffed shells... after draining the shells and letting them cool, I'll salt any that have ripped into shreds and have become unstuffable. No sauce or butter.
