I got a late start (slept in till past noon), so I just had some clam chowder for lunch. I had some cheese and crackers for an appetizer before dinner, and for dinner itself I tried "quinoa with moroccan winter squash and carrot stew": http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/233714 A bit spicy; I would personally use less of the ginger and pepper next time I made it, but over-all a good recipe.

Today I went to this great restaurant in Louisville called the Falafel House. It's Mediterranean / Turkish food. I had a beef shawarma sandwich with fresh french fries and turkish coffee. It was great! The fries were much better than I expected, very fresh. Only $8 with tip and I chatted with the waitress for a while as I did my homework.

'Twas a nice afternoon!

Oh, yessss.

Lasagne alla bolognese. Made with my own hands, absolutely nothing pre-made - not even the pasta...
Sent down the esophagus along with a quarter of Trequanda red wine, followed by a regular espresso coffee.

Missed breakfast, lunch was cilantro'd rice, stir fried asian vegetables, tofu and mandarin orange. Dinner has been baked cheddar/sour cream potato chips and organic peanut butter panda puffs cereal. Scrounging for food at the office sucks arse. At least we have milk. :)

Very nice. A big hint that I can give people is to abuse whey protein to the max. Replace one meal a day with 2 scoops of whey protein mixed in with water, and take it after you work out and you'll notice a huge difference.

Breakfast: a couple frosted flakes. (sore throat. Didn't feel like eating)
Lunch: some nachos, some lettuce, two cookies, and half a bottle of water.
Dinner: After lunch so far: a can of Mountain Dew, and some imminent snacking. (some one finished off the girl scout cookies! Dammit!)

Wow, everyone eats like actual meals. Weird.

Today:
Spanish omelette (rare occasion, my sister was in the mood to cook)
Like four satsuma oranges
A tiny bit of butterscotch fudge (so rich...but so gooood)
An apple
Lots of tangerine Altoids

Yeah, I guess I don't really believe in food groups... Or meal times.
A good pun is its own reword.

For lunch I made a wrap starting with sun-dried tomato basil tortillas, applied a layer of my secret recipe mayonnaise (1/2 miracle whip 1/2 ricotta cheese minced parsley and basil and a dash of cayenne and black peppers, mixed) then turkey pastrami and ham, lettuce, sliced red onion and colby jack cheese.
MMMMM!

And for dinner I made lobster lasagna rolls. It was pretty good, though I expected it to be super-amazing. A decent alternative, but it needs some twerking before its ready for primetime. Any suggestions?

I heated up some tomato shrimp pasta thing that I found in the fridge for lunch. Then for dinner I ate a ham&cheese hot pocket. I feel hungry now...

Breakfast: Green tea and toast.
Crappy school lunch: Overcooked macaroni and some kind of sauce.
Better school lunch in kitchen: some sushi.

Late-ish start. Started it off in semi-rare form, with an actual breakfast. Hash browns, an egg, and a bagel with chive cream-cheese, glass of blood-orange juice (it's a type of orange...). Lunch was a vegetarian chicken-parmigiana with spaghetti instead of linguini. Had a piece of Earthquake cake that I made the other day (it's a very fluffy chocolate frosting over cream-cheese cake with a chocolate coconut crust). Planning on some barbecued vegetables and curry-rice for dinner. Having a friend come over tonight, so I think I'll wash it all down with a bottle of wine, which, if you get the right wine-glass (like the one I have... muhahahahaha) is less than a single glass.

Breakfast: two peanut butter sandwiches

Lunch: leftover potatoes, carrots and roast beef

Supper: Grilled chicken sandwich and ceaser salad

All in all, it was a pretty good day, one of my better ones anyway.

Woo necro!

I just had more of the rice I prepared and some salad. However, ti upgrade this already excellent lunch, I went with a couple of coworkers to a bakery (about 50 m. from our work) and got something to eat. We weren't sure what to get but when I saw the baker take several loaves of bread out of the oven at the very instant we got there, I knew we had to get one. So I probably at around 1/3 loaf of bread. But it was worth it.

Well, yesterday I had waffles and maple syrup, then there was a dark chocolate peanut butter cup for snacks, then yakisoba noodles with snap peas and chicken and mushrooms, then crackers and hummus then pizza-sausage and caramelized onion on one and ricotta, poblanos and spicy chicken sausage on the other-a slice or so of each.
Today it was leftover pizza for brekkie, with black berry/banana smoothies coming up for lunch and fresh corn, an artichoke and some broccoli for dinner. The whole meat/veggies thing seems to get separated over time.

OK, it was a few days ago, but I went to the Hyatt Canberra for morning tea. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but their morning tea is mostly sweet fare, so I went for some of the classics. Their almond croissant was the best ever, and the pain au chocolat similarly good. Dammit. Now I'm craving it, but I'm in Melbourne. I wonder if I could sniff out their recipe/supplier.

Croissant dough isn't hard, it just takes time because it needs to rest between rollings. If you have a day where you do stuff around the house you can make your own, and if you make enough at a time to be worth it you can freeze them to bake later. If interested I can give instruction.

Breakfast: Bagel w/blackberry jam
Lunch: Wendy's new asian chicken things (REGRET)
Dinner's still a long ways off but I'm thinking it might be orange-ginger beef with red peppers over rice.

I've been planning to make croissants, and I have plenty of recipes, but it's the Hyatt's almond custard I'm curious about. As opposed to the one at my local, which is far too sweet and sticky.

Today I mostly ate toast and vegemite, because I still have the flu :(

Today was the first day of Outside Lands, San Francisco's premiere big awesome rock festival held every year. I bought a water bottle for 15 bucks that you can get refilled for free all 3 days, so I didn't buy anything to drink.

1. Hamburger with lettuce and tomato (added ketchup, mayo and relish)
2. BBQ ribs with mac and cheese and salad.
3. Hot dog
4. Cookie ice cream sandwich
5. Ice cream sandwich when I got home

* Brekkie: 2 slices of vegemite on toast. Did not find vegemite on my face this time (at lunchtime, at work).
* Coffee before work
* Salami+lettuce+beetroot+cheese+onion+weirdUnidentifiableSauce roll
* An apple, pink lady, a few weeks old
* Sad dry biscuit with afternoon coffee
* chikito (? chocolate jelly baby)
* Dinner, made some spagetti - tinned squished tomatoes, onion, garlic powder, basil, capsicum, dodgylooking defrosted backon, slightly old ham, flour, woustershire. And cheese.
* Two salt and vinegar rice cakes.

I love food. :)

For breakfast I had three pieces of hapankorppu which apparently are called finn crisps in English. I put some cream cheese on them.

For lunch at school I had mashed potatoes, fish fingers and sour cream dressing and some cucumber, carrots and delicious white bread.

Just now I ate a bowl of ice cream and intend to eat more later on today and maybe have some more of those finn crisps as well.

Lunch will be salad.
Dinner will be corn soup.

-strawberry instant breakfast/vanilla soy milk
-leftover vegetable lasagne
-apple
-poptart
-additional lasagne
-oatmeal (with marmalade instead of sugar, because I didn't have any. Bad idea. Bad, bad idea.)
-eight peanuts
-two tootsie rolls
-copious amounts of green tea

I was home, alone all day. It sucked. It really did.

Breakfast/Lunch: I had a peanut butter and parmesean cheese sandwich. It's actually a lot tastier than it sounds. I also had a handful of Nacho Cheese Doritos, and a glass of minute maid Lemonade.

I'll be having Pizza for dinner, but it'll be ready while I'm out fixing a computer, so It'll be about an hour and a half or so, if then until I get to eat.

Breakfast: Made Pancakes

Lunch: Butter Chicken--made from a jar, but the President's Choice sauce is pretty good for jarred Butter Chicken Sauce.....

Snack: Umm I call them Kay Cookies after my great aunt, they're rice puffs with cooked down dates rolled into a ball and dredged in coconut. There's also vanilla, orange juice and butter in.

Dinner: I dunno. Haven't had it yet.
