Well, I broke 45K tonight, finally. Now if I can just do a writing spree, and write 5K tomorrow and the day after, then I'll be able to get started on the second pass before Nanowrimo is even over. (for the record, in my editing cycle, each parse is a layer of added detail: everything implies by the former pass). After that, I'll go through and rewrite everything to an even level of quality, and see if I can get someone to proofread.
I can kill you with my brain.

Are you kidding? My novel's still probably got another 50k of steam in it. December is for finishing the rough draft. Wait til March to edit.

Yeah, I think February is NaNoEdMo or something. Congratulations everyone who did it! You are officially better than me. How's that for an achievement? =P

50k here!

Unfortunately, out of the ten friends that did Nano this year, only two won :(

I realized that I wrote more in one day (4750) at the end than in five at the beginning (4235). (Write Or Die is amazing. I wrote somewhere around 3000 words in an hour once.)
I accidentally divided by zero and my paper burst into flames.

One other friend tried it with me. He stalled at 5K, and never moved on.
